Bathrooms were relatively clean. Tables and fire pits were good. Nature was amazing as always. The new latches on the bear lockers are better than they used to be. I wish getting into the Yosemite gate didn't require sitting in standstill traffic for 2 hours, but I guess that's the trade off for not destroying more nature to build roads.

Site 224 was nice with small creek behind the site and no other campers behind us. Close to Happy Isle but farther away from Curry Village. We had a small 18' trailer pulled by a Dodge Durango and could not fit second car in the space although listing allows for 2 vehicles and a trailer. We were able to also pitch a tent we used mostly for storage. We had a family party of 6 - 4 adults and 2 young kids. Unfortunately, the bus shuttle was not going past Curry Village because of construction that was a little inconvenient. The rangers were nice and came around to check on things and had to warns us once about a momma bear and cub in the area mid-day. So nice to have a camping site in Yosemite Valley. We were only able to get 2 nights and needed more. We'll probably try again next summer.

Site #223 was spectacular! We setup a 10 x 10 ft tent. It backs up to the luscious forest which provides more privacy and a greater sense of having a lil piece of Yosemite all to yourself. During the night, you can hear Vernal Waterfall. The restrooms are a close walk away and they are clean. We showered at Curry Village which was soothing after hikes at Sentinel Dome & Taft Point. Enjoy & have lots of fun folks!
