I cannot thank Judy (camp host) enough for saving our trip. I arrived only to find out that our new trailer could not get into the spot I selected. Judy was able to accommodate us in one of the administrative sites for our stay. This is our granddaughters first trip to Yosemite and Judy saved the day. I enjoyed the new dump site for RV's. It was well designed allowing the dump hole well below the drains on the trailer. Everywhere we traveled it was clean and neat. Grocery store and gift shops well stocked. And of course, the pizza at Curry Village does an outstanding job. I hope this message gets to Judy, so she knows her efforts were appreciated.

Camping at Yosemite is a must-do experience. Upper Pines is a great campsite for hiking Half Dome, since it is so close to the Mist Trailhead. 10/10 recommend!

#207 was an amazing site. Overall campground had clean bathrooms, diligent bear safety patrol siting people for endangering bears by leaving out food. The last loop is so nicely tucked back between two cliffs. Front loops are close to the river. Very cool campground and area.

We had a great campsite reserved here at Upper Pines Campground. A really nice and spacious site with some privacy. There is only enough space for one vehicle, so keep that in mind if planning a family trip.My only complaints were that we arrived later in the evening (due to travel delays) and had to kick squatters off our campsite. At the kiosk, there was a list of late arrivals with names and campsite #s so anyone looking to camp out on someone elses campsite could easily make a list of names and campsites to squat on. These people tried to claim they read first come first served online. I matter-of-factly stated that I had made these reservations 5 months in advance and they needed to vacate the site. The nearby village was inundated with an insane amount of people, but it was quiet and private at our campsite.

Beautiful area. Definetly better than 90% of the other camping options in the park. Clean. Would stay here again. Parking for this campsite is slightly cramped, but okay yet tight for 2 small SUV's or cars. Bathroom close, but not too close. TP and running water in bathrooms, but no soap or dryer...so come prepared. Overall clean.
