What a place. Camping at upper pines really adds to the overall Yosemite experience. What we liked is how basic and basic to nature the campsite itself is, but whenever you need anything, you can find it at Curry village

The campground is very simple, toilets, pire pit and a small space. Nothing else. You have no shower, nor laundries in Upper Pines Campground. For that, you have to take your van, the bus, or go by foot to the Housekeeping Camp - around 20/40min by car, or 30min of walk. Choose your space carefully has some are very next to others and you only have a few square for you. The campground is very crowded.

Site 196 was great, was on the smaller side and a bit of an angle to back into with a trailer. Definitely don't try to bring a big trailer. Was able to charge my Tesla Cybertruck nearby at the Curry Village Rivians chargers. There are 20 of them very close.

Yosemite Valley is beautiful in May. Stayed in Upper Pines CG. Excellent location. Close to Mirror Lake and Mist / John Muir trailheads. Staff was helpful everywhere we went.

Our site (196) was a little packed in but we managed to find a level space for our RV. The views were impressive.

Sublime. A winter camping experience at Upper Pines as we were there for 4 nights just after 2 feet of snow had fallen. Camped in a 24' motorhome. Campground was fantastic, the views even from the dump station :) beat those at 98% of other campgrounds in the world! Only challenge we had and word of advice - if camping after heavy snow, don't assume that every "snow bank" is soft and fluffy. Backed our RV up into our spot and ended up breaking off some undercarriage pieces as that snow bank was actually hard-as-rock ice. My bad. This campground and park will never, ever get old.

Location of the park is top. Sanitary installations coul be better. Wild fires smoke was beyond good health, but thats not the fault of the campground

Really not a great campground. Our firepit and campsite were falling apart, the restrooms were dirty and to small, there's no privacy at all - literally 10 feet between sites. I'd recommebd camping outside of the vally. It's just as beautiful and white wolf or tamarack aren't that far but way nicer.

Yosemite is a magical place. Campground was spectacular and facilities first rate for camping. Everyone was very helpful. This is a must see National Park!

The camping experience was less than amazing. The site was tiny and was difficult to have any guests.
