Welcoming staff busier and more commercialised than I expected

Absolutely incredible place to stay! Many trailheads in the area. Great shuttle connections, very friendly rangers, even dears eating on some bushes next to our spot. Bear locks are bigger than we expected. Dont trust the squirrels - they are to steal your food when youre not looking. Showers available in the village nearby. Great once in the lifetime experience! We were a couple in a camper van and a hammock.

Great location and safe spot. When everyone makes a fire there’s a lot of smog because of no wind.

Campsite was great as always. Wasn't happy about the traffic on a 4th of July weekend. Took us three hours to get back to the campsite from the fissures/sentinel done trail head. There are only so many campsites, it would have made sense to let the people with campsite reservations take the bus lane. The majority of traffic was for in and out visitors looking for parking.
