No other National Park feels like HOME much like Yosemite. You are flooded with miracle after miracle of Mother Nature, cradling you in her sweet embrace as the valley transforms you. All problems, conflicts, tensions, strife, and even health issues simply melt away. You are there, experiencing a kinship, a oneness with her grand and magnanimous beauty, eager to set up camp so as to gaze upon the twinkling stars above. The sights, the sounds, the environs, the general air of comradery throughout, Yosemite provides restoration in times of anxiety, solace in times of woe, and adventure to strive above to heights greater than thought possible. And nothing is more affordable than camping in the most spectacular valley in the world--Yosemite.

Campsite 182 was awesome , nestled in pine trees with good distance between campsites. The views are awesome , clean , quiet , one of the best campgrounds around in and around Yosemite

The site we were in was incredible. Restrooms were clean. Campsite was clean. Neighbors were respectful. Shuttle bus stop not too far. Definitely want to go back for a longer duration.

Great location. The individual campsites are hit or miss. A fantastic site will be next to a lackluster site. The only negative is the potable water dispensers on the restroom building were disconnected. Cold weather precaution? Maybe but the Camp4 restroom had a functioning water dispenser. In fact the Camp 4 restroom was glamorous in comparison.

Campground is nice but the price is a little bit high considering that there are no showers. many campsites were not clean from snow and tables neither

Great site. Nice people The campfires were disturbing as the smoke was at a level that caused burning of my eyes and my throat hurt It is time to stop or decrease the campfires It made the whole stay nearly intolerable

The bathrooms need better attention. In the closest one, one stall had a broken latch and the other was out of paper. The hand dryers are about a half a century out of date. It would be nice to also have a drinking fountain on the potable water station.

It would be much easier to camp if facilities included a washbasin for dishwashing. The reservations should hold for any free spot, not a specific one (this way one wouldn't need to move between camping spots in the same campground). Generally, look at how European campgrounds work.

Love the Upper Pines campground, however, the campfire smoke was SO BAD across the entire Valley on this trip. I know the campfire timing was limited compared to years past, but it was almost like being in a casino in Vegas at some points. I mainly just want to say I love Yosemite, love having a campsite in the Pines and EVERYONE who worked there/volunteered there was absolutely lovely and wonderful! We really enjoyed our time, but think NPS should feel empowered to ban campfires entirely if there are inversions/dry conditions/whatever was causing issues. Thank you for considering!
