Pros: near curry village for food and showers, near mist trail and others, good shade, lots of options for bathrooms and trash - didnt have to walk far. Bathrooms were clean!Cons: host or campground staff dont really enforce the rules they stressed when entering. Many people with fires outside of allowed time, many people using generators during quiet hours, kids flying around on bikes yelling well past sunset (8:40pm in the summer). Didnt get great cell signal on Verizon. WeBoost helped but still had to lags in load time

Really worth it to be in the middle of the valley, transportation is very efficient.

Close to the sites in the back of the valley, such as Mirror lake and Vernal and Nevada Falls trails.

Es un camping inmenso en el que cabe mucha gente. Conveniente para acceder a todo lo que ofrece el valle de Yosemite y especialmente a las excursiones que salen de Happy Isles.

Great overall experience, its been 18 years since I had been back but pretty much the same just with a bit more people. Staff were great and food and everything else all good if not great for camping, based off some other reviews people tend to forget that this is camping and not a 5 star hotel.. no complaints here.. looking forward to coming back in a few years

Beautiful scenery and a nice campground! If possible avoid site 155. Its in a low spot nestled between the dumpsters, bathrooms, and the road.

This campsite is huge. The bathrooms were clean and there were many trash and recycling cans. Very crowded in the park over the weekend but enough space between our sites and our neighbors'.

We had an RV site in the Upper Pines campground. It was beautiful, more than quiet enough, and we enjoyed walking to the Merced River. The site was level enough that we didn't need to level our RV. It was easy to get to the RV dump station, and there was only a minimal wait.

Loved this campground and site. We were very close to bathroom which was super nice. The campground in its entirety was crowded (as expected) but very clean.
