Within reasonable walking distance to Curry Village and it's amenities. Our site did not have any reasonable place to put a tent other than in the parking area because of rocks, roots and topography. Bathrooms were clean, but did not have hand soap.

It was noisy for mid-week. We were hoping to be not inundated by noise, but found ourselves camped next to a large group of teenagers. However, they were quite by 9 p.m. We could only stay one night because it was tough to get a site and only one was available for one night. Because we were trying to see everything and had to rush from place to place, and saw others rushing in large groups from place to place, it seemed like a Disneyland entertainment zoo rather than a natural treasure. The sounds of the falls and nature were drowned out by generators. On the other hand, it was a lovely place in the trees and close to everything we wanted to visit by bicycle, and we love the bicycle path network. I think the National Park needs to: 1. limit the number of people visiting in a day. 2. create a new campground that is only for self-contained small vehicles that won't be using generators. 3. not allow large busloads into the Valley. The huge number of tourists, and especially the clearly large tourist groups, diminish the unique natural beauty of the place. Thank you for making the Valley accessible!

Beautiful location, friendly rangers and camp host. Be warned that it doesn't get much sun for 6 months of the year!

Can’t beat the location!
Not much privacy, however. Even with every other campground vacant, you can still see and hear your neighbors. Site 150 was wide, but short. We have a 16” trailer, but had to unhitch and park the car on the side. All bathrooms open with flush toilets. No showers available right now, and the water dispensers were disconnected.
