The location is the best in the park and the sites were well maintained.

Site #148 Our campsite was great! It was conveniently located near a restroom and a water station, and just a short walk to the nearby Merced River for floating and swimming. I do wish they could add shower facilities, as there were a lot of campers. They also strictly enforced the campfire rules.

Campsites are awesome! Upper Pines was super close to the hike to Nevada falls :) Bathrooms were okay.. which was the one star that was lost but showers were nice at curry village! Overall experience in the park was unmatched!

Loved Yosemite and the campground host was awesome!! Very helpful and kind. Would stay here anytime.

Great location. My one minor complaint is that campfire smoke in the valley remains very thick all night to the point of likely being at toxic levels. Fires should probably be limited to every third or fourth site to make the atmosphere more pleasant.

My son had a significant injury while at Yosemite this past week. The medical staff at the Clinic were extraordinary and I can't thank them enough for the incredible care.

My wife and I enjoyed camping at upper pines, but I was disappointed at the bathroom facilities' seemingly lack of any regular cleaning as well as the absence of basics like soap for washing hands. Apart from the bathrooms, the campground was nicely maintained and well patrolled by park rangers throughout the day

Jenni who checked us in every day was such a rad human! She was informative, friendly and even showed my wife some rock climbers through her binoculars. Such an awesome personality. The campground was clean and I really appreciated the fact that quiet hours were respected and fires were out at 10. Made for nice sleeping. Bathrooms were clean and a close walk to Curry Village and the showers. 10/10 would recommend.

No showers available with site purchase. A $5 shower fee is unacceptable. I probably wont pay to stay again.

I have visited Yosemite for over 40 years. I can recall arriving on a day in the summer and finding an available camp site. No more! I have been planning visits in the late Fall to avoid the summer crowds, and enjoy the Fall colors. However, it is harder and harder to find places to camp, even with advanced planning.
