Warm welcome at the entrance. Great camping spot, toilet and drinkwater point nearby. Just outside the campground there is a shuttle busstop

We stayed in Upper Pines #147 with a C25 RV. The spot was super fine, close to the restrooms, with fire pit and picnic table. There was a lot of snow, and we could not use the picnic table because of the ice (and we did not have a shovel). The were other tables in the same condition. It was our first time there, so I do not know if the rangers can help with that. It is not too close of campground gate, so we did not have cell phone signal (T-mobile). Rangers were super kind. We check in after ours and just let them know on the other day the we really checked in, so they would not put our spot in the available list. Make sure to check in between 10am-4pm this time of the year.

The camp Ranger was extremely helpful and most friendly during our visit, and our short time allowed us to spend one day hiking up to the Vernal Falls bridge and another day biking around the entire valley on a great loop bike trail. My wife and I loved the time we spent together in Yosemite National Park!

I was impressed by how well maintained the park was. Very clean, organized, and friendly. The Curry Village was my favorite so far. The convenience of having a gift store combined with a grocery was exceptional. I got super lucky to find a last-minute open campground at Upper. I'd stay there again next time, loved my site.

CRAZY busy, with campgrounds on top of each other. But still had to rate it high because you're in the park, and that's what's important!!!! Bear bins are plenty big to hold all our food and toiletries easily. No showers, but you can pay to take one at Curry Village. My only complaint was the limited check-in times.

We had a wonderful time inside Yosemite valley. The campsite was perfect and the people working were very friendly. The bathrooms were in a close distance and not too far. The bear safe food containers were very large for our food. Youre able to walk everywhere and are close to the river! Highly recommend.

First time camping in Yosemite and we loved it. Everything was beautiful. Stayed at Site #147. Campground wasnt full, close to the restrooms. Walking distance to the river. Rode our bikes to town, trails and waterfalls. Colder than we planned for and had to set inside our tent while it rained! Will be coming back as soon as we can book another site. Only downside was RV next to us had their generator running most of the day, well past quiet hours.

It was amazing! So peaceful and quiet without the shuttle buses running all day long. Wildlife was very active. Saw 2 bears.Once in a lifetime trip that will never happen again when Yosemite Valley gets crowded again. Limiting the visitors was a blessing, but I know it will not last.

This campsite was easy to find and campers weren't too close together which was nice. We loved our trip and would do it again!
