I really like this campsite. It was pretty sizable and had good trees for hammocks. It was close to the restrooms but didn't bother us at all. It was a close walk to Curry Village and other hikes so it was a perfect spot

Overall camping was an amazing experience at Yosemite. People were respectful about the quiet hours. The only problem was our campsite 144 was very hilly and a lot of rocks around the ground so we had to be a little closer to other campsites. The campsites are all very close to each other

Location, location, location! Packed campground but clean and quiets down at night. Start your day early and leave the crowds behind.

Be aware that generators are allowed here four hours a day. It would be nice if there was a campground for tent campers. I guess thats what wilderness permits are for. We cant wait to go back but will definitely be backpacking. The valley for is like a small city.

Be sure to bring a sleeping pad, area can be rocky. Also, alot of foot traffic due to the the bathroom being so close.

Why, do you allow generators to run at 7 am? Nothing like being in a pristine environment and being woken every morning by the sound of loud diesel generators.

Great proximity to Happy Isles, Mirror Lake, and Curry Village.

Four Mike was a fantastic hike as was Vernal/Nevada Falls!

Clean, quiet camp site. Close to Curry Village, Mirror Lake and other trail heads.
Plan to walk every where, Mirror Lake and lower Yosemite fall are dry this time of the year but still worth seeing. Drive up Glacier Point to soak in a splendid panorama!

Upper pines is a sweet little campground. You are close to your neighbors, but overall, itโ€™s great.

I would love to have bear boxes located in places that make more sense, closer to tables & fire pits, they seemed to be in odd places.

It was so nice to be in the campgrounds without the shuttle buses running. So healthy to get people on their feet and walking! The experience was much improved without the noises of the shuttles.

Corona definitely impacted enjoyment. Lots of park pleasures not available. Missed ability to get a shower. Signage indicates major improvement projects continuing thru 2021. Recommend delaying trip for those who want the full Yosemite experience. However, for those really into hiking and priority is absence of crowds, now is probably a good time to go. Problem is getting a reservation for campground or even day use. Tried repeatedly for days before getting a one night stay.

Disappointed so many campgrounds closed yet it was hard to get reservations. Seemed like a number of sites were not actually occupied yet it was still difficult to get into campground!!!The grounds were nicely maintained but had a few water faucets not working due to faucet parts missing. Something as easy to repair like that should be addressed quickly.

Camping in Late October/early November was perfect as the crowds really thinned out so we had most hikes and drives to ourselves. That being said, the campgrounds are designed to fit as many guests as possible so all can enjoy the park and the sites are far from private. We were unlucky enough to have a very very drunk man as our next door neighbour (ie 9 feet from our tent) alternately swearing, howling and sobbing all through the night. It did not ruin our trip to the park, I feel privileged to have gotten a site at all less than two weeks in advance, but just a word to the wise, the sites are not private. Also, the water stations begin to shut down that late in the season so bring extra with you, however the camp store had quite an impressive array of choices and was surprisingly not that expensive! Would consider back country camping on my next visit. Was so happy overall with our trip! Also, when booking, if everything is sold out, keep checking back multiple times a day, something will open up for sure.
