Our site was on a corner and a bit off-spec but we liked it. Cool neighbors and clean campground.

Very basic campground but right in the heart of everything. The free shuttles are brilliant and really help with getting around, especially if you have young children like we did! Upper pines is a great location for certain trails such as the mist trail and mirror lake trail.

This was our first visit to Yosemite and it lived up to all the hype. The campground was very nice and in close proximity to Curry Village where you could hop on the shuttle and visit other areas of the valley. With the hot weather during our stay a shuttle ride to El Capitan Meadows to swim in the Merced was quite the relief. Plenty of opportunities to hike various trails and we thoroughly enjoyed the hike to Vernal Falls. Get out and about early in order to beat the crowds. Would recommend this campground to anyone planning to visit Yosemite.

Amazing location on the valley floor. Minutes walking to the mist trail. Bathrooms were clean with flush toilets and spouts with potable water. Great experience all around!

We were kept awake until at like east 2am each night be yelling and screaming party goers. The same thing happened October 8th at Hodgkin Meadows Its really sad that a ranger cant drive through a few times a night rather than chasing down people sleeping in their cars or vans. The campground HOSTS are useless!!VERY disappointed

This is our second stay at Upper Pines this year. This time space #140 was much better than our space in March. This space had good level gravel for our motorhome. Last time space #072 was muddy and very uneven.

It was too smoky to stay in the park - they should not have been selling same-day campsites when they knew the air was too bad to stay. Feel very ripped off by this action on their part.

Campsites are close together so going during Covid was great as only half were open. Bring a tablecloth.
