Stay here every time. Crowded but good size sites. Its the valley so cant expect solitude. Cell service is basically non existent but thats a good thing.

Nice campground. Bear boxes were big, plenty of bathrooms, and the sites themselves had enough room. Good proximity to Glacier Point for some classic climbing objectives (The Grack) as well, the approach was only 20ish minutes.

For Upper Pines, this was a good sized campsite with a short walk to the bathroom, but far enough that it wasnt noisy. The bathroom was frequently cleaned. In late summer you can walk out the back of the campground towards Curry Village-much shorter than following the road (in spring there is a creek in the way). The campground host was active, going through the campground.

We stayed at Upper pines campground at the end of April 2023. The campground was very well maintained and very clean. All amenities worked and we had zero issues. Everyone respected the rules and quiet hours. I have no complaints about my time here. Highly recommend and will be returning frequently.

Super convenient location in the valley, with easy access to trails and both shuttle lines. The campsite and facilities were adequate, but the mix of tent and RV spots was unfortunate. We could set our watches every morning at 8am sharp when the RVs on either side of our campsite fired up their noisy generators for the day. If you want a tent camping experience, there are better options in Yosemite Valley and elsewhere in the park.

It was a nice experience. Wood fires in the evenings only, please.

Beautiful and clean campsite. Maybe would be less so in the summer, but it was great in October.

Great campground, right near amazing hikes such as the Mist Trail and John Muir Trail. They were also very accommodating of us having to leave a day early.
