Lovely campgrounds, clean bathrooms. Site 127 is a little closer to the bathroom than Id prefer (the light is pretty bright at night, lights up the tent a bit) but otherwise very nice.

Great location in the valley. Easy walk to Curry Village for supplies and shower.

Bear bin was so not level you could not use the top to rest anything. But bin was clean and functional otherwise. Fireplace ashes needed to be cleaned out but grill was functional and clean

The camp sites are too close to each other . Not enough social distancing. Camp sites feel like they are on each others lap. Squirles and sparrows were very aggressive .

Its great to be in the park near a lot of the action but the camping spots near the restrooms are not great. Bright lights at night and all kinds of people walking through your campsitethese days all the spots book fast so not much choice.

Always an enjoyable time to stay here. It's close to the trails, area is clean, and bathrooms are close to campsites. Highly recommend.

Great campgrounds, very well organized, with plenty of bathroom facilities and including potable water fill stations. Great place to stay where you can walk to the Mist Trail, as well as a quick drive to any other trailheads in the valley. The only thing I wish was different is that check in times are only between 10am and 4pm, which limits you from leaving early for hikes if you're planning to be out past 4, or requires you to come back to the campsite before 4 to check in.

As always a trip to Yosemite is glorious. Despite the unavoidable difficulty in securing reservations, the effort to gain entrance is time well spent, an investment really. The natural beauty is obvious and the wonderful NPS team enhances the experience. But I took one star away from what would have been the all star rating. The new concessionaire, Aramark, has made changes in the convenience aspects of the park that, frankly, tarnish the experience. While the personnel are pleasant enough, the product is unacceptable. In 3 days at the park I was unable to find a decent meal at any price. The food is just plain bad. I assume they are also responsible for changing the small stores and stands that offered supplies and food in the village, curry, and lodge areas. None of the changes made improved the visitor experience. In all honesty, I found myself driving more and utilizing the shuttle system less simply because I couldn't depend on finding what I needed at the nearest location; as had always been the case in the past. As a visitor to the park for nearly 60 years I am of course subject to being nostalgic about things as they were. In the 60's the park was more festival than natural experience and while I miss the Fire Fall I agree that it is probably best that it is in the past along with most things of the 60's. Still, I have to say that Yosemite in the 80's and 90's seemed to me to have been the perfect balance of convenience for families out to discover nature and protection of the natural resource we have in that wonderful place. When the contract is up for renewal, please dump Aramark and return the park concession services to operators who will try to recapture what, for want of a better expression, was a "home town" feel to the park experience. Thank you for letting be vent. BTW, it will take a good deal more than a bad meal, or several bad meals to keep me away. I just enjoyed the way it used to be, and see no advantage to the changes made. Thanks again.
