This was a fantastic campsite. it was near the bathrooms but on the end so not a lot of people walked though. there was a lot of traffic lights at night - I had my tent pointed toward the road, next time Ill point it inward. beautiful rocks by the fire pit.

This was the week before Memorial Day Weekend. We were in line for 1 hour before we checked in at the south entrance ranger kiosk. A reservation was required Saturday and Sunday til 4 PM. Suggestion all reservation papers/digital must have a bar code to scan to be efficient. Other wise there is a hold up. We were there for 5 nights it was so quiet. no music no generators no children screaming unsupervised. restrooms were cleaned every day. and the weather was high 80 and low 48 with blue skies. the reservation system is working and keeping the tourist very manageable. Campsites were clean.thank you love and joy

Great place to camp if you're planning to do all the main trails. I brought my bike and was able to get to most trailheads as well as the village center within a reasonable amount of time.

We stayed in site 123 from 10/1-10/4. Everything was great except being right next to the bathroom. It was convent for us but other campers would either walk right by our campsite or through our campsite. It wasn't a huge deal but it was annoying when people would walk through at night with headlamps shinning into our tent.

Upper Pines is one of our family favorites. This last time was amazing. Being at site 123, which is right next to the bathroom was not well received by some reviewers, but we made the best of it. Folks were courteous and didn't walk through our camp too much and were polite enough to catch themselves if they started. But it was perfect having a special needs teenager. Yosemite never disappoints. Hopefully we can land a spot again next year. Until then, to all of the staff members and employees behind the counters, you guys are awesome!

site 123 Upper Pines Campground, Yosemite. Too close to the bathroom. Other campers walked right through our campsite, tripped over our tenth and still have no clue that someone is camping here. Other times, about 15 campers all at once walked through our campsite (to use the bathrooms) while we were eating, tripped over our stove and chairs and showed no sense of responsbility, common courtesy and showed no sense of humanity in general. We knew site 123 is close to the bathroom, but we did not know that other campers lack common decency, courtesy and respect for other campers. Obviously, there are 3 other pathways to walk to the bathroom that does not interfere with our campsite. But, you know....Campers, please do not walk through someone else's campsite while they are enjoying their meal just because their campsite is in the pathway to the bathroom. What ever happen to etiquettes?

Great place to camp at, even if we had to shovel snow when we got there. Exceptionally beautiful.
