Everything was excellent. I only wish they would provide soap in the bathrooms- come on people of Yosemite. Cant we have some soap? Everything else was just fabulous!

Our favorite places to see is Mirror Lake and doing rafting! We have enjoyed over 4 th of July with family for the past 30+ years!! Several generations attend.

Camping in Yosemite was a gorgeous as always. Cold at night (beginning of December), perfect hiking weather during the day. The only negative was that we were in the last open loop, and the two bathrooms closest to our campsite had already been winterized and closed down. This is not reflected anywhere when making the reservations. Since bathroom proximity is a factor for us in choosing a specific campsite, I wish we had known which ones would remain open. Other than that, it was wonderful to be back!

Upper Pines is our favorite of all the campgrounds in the Valley. Our campsite is so close to the Mist Trail which we enjoy doing the 4-6 Hour hike to Vernal Falls. It is so fun to be with in walking distance of all of the eatery and store in Curry Village. We also had an amazing time doing the Lower Yosemite Falls Trail and riding the bike from the rental place.

March is a fantastic time to visit Yosemite. The daytime weather is perfect for hiking or biking--sweaters, but not gloves. The waterfalls are not at their peak, but they have real flows. Mirror Lake has real water. And the park is remarkably uncrowded, particularly on a weekday. On the drive in on Route 140, there are amazing wildflowers.
