Another camper was in site upon arrival at 8:30 pm. Camp host was completely dark so we did not bother. Solved the issue with camper ourselves no problem. Good site flat and a quiet spot.

valley was full of smoke, could hardly see half dome from the tunnel view. we realize they were doing controlled burning- however, was not notified before we got to Yosemite- was very bad for our lungs!!!!!! The mens restrooms had a really bad smell in the urinals. Intermittent signal for phones made it difficult to communicate/find each other in the valley.Isn't it about time Yosemite upgrade their facilities in the camps with at least - showers, clean restrooms , electricity, phone towers , at a minimum????? I'm sure campers will spend additional fees for these requests.

My wife and I along with our dog spent 3 days at the Upper Pines campground in a 30' motorhome. We had no problems getting in and the campground was amazing! The facilities were well kept up and the campground is within walking distance of Curry Village where they have a general store, restaurants, etc. Also, the campground is within walking distance of the Mirror Lake trailhead and the Vernal and Nevada Fall trailheads as well. We are looking forward to coming back to the Upper Pines campground when we have longer time to spend in the great, Yosemite National Park!!!!

It was a winter camping trip. Upper Pine had two loops open. Not crowded. Low 20's at night. 40-50 daytime. Shuttles worked great to get around to further parts of the park. Shenery was spectacular! Thanks to the rangers for keeping things running smoothly!

Yosemite under snow is a wonderful experience! Wish it was easy getting a site every year!

If you've not been to Yosemite after snowfall, you've missed a magical experience.

We loved our camp host. Checking in was easy, it was crowded but still fun. And did I mention the camp host was the best?

I love being there in upper pines. The friendly greeters at the booth entrance I do want to express, however, that we women need more small counters, if it were possible, but I am very thankful their efforts in keeping the bathrooms clean. And it would be nice to have electrical outlets but Im sure you have a good reason not to. Thank you

A large, but spacious campground. Camp host, Kevin, was very helpful upon check-in. Great location in the valley - close to shuttle, hiking trails, and Curry Village amenities. Some spots are close together but the loops are spaced apart well. A very delightful campground. Our level site accommodated our 21foot Trailer well. One of the best parts was meeting great people who camped next to us.

It's great to camp in Yosemite valley! If I could choose though, I'd rather choose lower pines (just a bit more cozy)

Of course, Yosemite is beautiful. This is not the best campground for an RV The pads are not exactly level but this is Still our favorite campground.

Considering the circumstances and the only campground in the park, I’m lucky to get a spot in Yosemite. There is no complaining in Yosemite. It could be my life’s last minute and there is no better place then NPS, specially Yosemite. Thanks to all the staff, rangers, and those who take care of the camps and the park.

Lots of snow in the campground, thanks NPS for plowing out a parking spot. Drove to sunnier, warmer sites along various meadows for breakfast.
