This is a nice campground. Near restroom and trail. Walking for 5-10 minutes to the deck (pizza) and mini grocery/souvenir shop. The restroom is clean and enough toilet papers. We enjoyed our stay. The only regret we have is we only stay here for a night.

Loved this site! Set up a hammock between two trees with a view of half dome. Parking spot is very flat, many bathrooms all clean. Short walk to curry village and trailheads. Amazing!!

We had a great time on our 4 nights stay at upper pines. The staff was friendly and gave us a detailed explanation of all the rules and details off the campground.

Great location for getting around the park! Smallish and compact campsites, but it's freezing this time of year anyway. Get out there and see the park!Recommend hiking over to vernal and Nevada falls from your site.

We enjoyed our time at beautiful Yosemite. Overall, things went well for us. Here are a couple things that think will improve the campground. During our 5 night stay, two of our neighbors put their tent on what we thought was our site...It would help if the boundries of the sites were clearly marked. Also, several people in our loop of the campground had fires going in the morning, which is against the rules. One morning a ranger or volunteer came around had people put out their fires. But most mornings nobody came around.

This next commentcis not about the campground but new bus route is ridiculous..Having to go all the way around fromn the Lodge instead of being able to get a bus from the lodge to the Village Store etc...as in the past.

Winter van camping. Wet snow on ground all over camp up to 1' or more in depth. Rain, hard, the last night with 'lakes' around us in the morning. So, be prepared for snow or rain or both. And campers across loop from us must not have followed bear country food protocol as when we awakened they were picking up endless chewed up garbage or food items in their campsite. Otherwise, it was beautiful and wonderful to be there except rather crowded (Xmas day and day after).

We had neighbors running a loud generator late at night and early in the morning, and playing loud music. I love the campground but this time it felt like I was camping outside an Applebee's, with the loud music, engine noise and lights. I'd love it if there was a stronger effort to enforce the noise rules at the campground, as I found this was a pretty typical experience for me there (over the course of half a dozen stays). I love the campground and the staff are always great, but more signs and warnings and maybe a patrol cruise around 9:30 to remind people it's time to settle down would all be appreciated. I know you can't enforce it for every single camper, but more things to lay a foundation of social pressure to respect those rules. Thanks!

Loved our campsite! The restrooms were fairly clean. Our neighboring campers were all respectful. Would love to come back again!

Fall is definitely the season to visit this park! We stayed in a couple sites throughout our stay, some are kinda packed like sardines on top of your neighbors, but that's to be expected in the valley! The 2nd site we got was nicely spaced, the facilities were all very clean and the campground hosts were all very friendly and helpful! Definitely recommend this campground :)

Ounce in a life time. No crowds due to the Covid. The park treating us really nice the main thing they enforced was washing your hands. Going in June we were thinking of very large crowds we experienced the opposite. The only odd thing was with this last rain/snow season we thought the river would have been flowing more.

Loved Upper Pines and the whole Yosemite national park. We plan to return in a few years and climb Half Dome
