overall good experience. Rangers verifying reservations at check in kiosk. One lane of the dump station out of order.Appeared to be many using the bear boxes properly for storing food. Garbage dumpsters were being emptied. Some inexperienced RVrs not complying with generator hours. The rangers have handout with generator hours. Had an extended family with multiple sites crossing back and forth through others sites and very noisy. We all want the enjoy Yosemite but some make it hard to with kids at full volume late into the night.Saw many RV and car campers outside of the campgrounds squatting overnight wherever they could park. Many people off trail and doing things not normally allowed. (Flying drones, approaching wildlife, swimming in the area above lower falls).Hopefully the NPS will soon be restored to full capacity so that we all can enjoy the National Parks.

Camp site 82 was perfect. Nice shed almost all day and still very open. Neighbor 81 was a friendly young couple with a very lovable 11 month baby all the way from Netherlands. That was a pleasant experience since our own grandchildren are all adults now. We both are in our eighties so it is somewhat difficult now. but we made it to the Vernon footbridge. We used to hike to Nevada falls every year. But we let go that since last year. The bus rides are wonderful and awe inspiring Spirit of Yosemite is wonderful to watch at the theater. All over a spiritual experience.

Standing water on the parking pad, made it very difficult to move around without wading.

The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.Internet needs improvement, especially if youre trying to make dining reservations or camping reservations.

Very nice, central campground. Close to most trails and very close to Curry Village.

You can't go wrong with Yosemite. It's the national park I live closest to and have explored the most but this was our first time camping (done backpacking before). It was an absolute blast! The campgrounds have great, level spots and the bathrooms are good enough for camping (don't expect something all that clean!). That said, this is not the place for you if you are expecting to have a "wilderness" camping experience. Campgrounds are full almost every night, tons of noise even past midnight, generators and cars turning on left and right, headlights and flashlights, etc. Most of all, tons of campfires and the smoke never really dissipates (it is a valley, after all). This doesn't make it any worse, as long as you go into it knowing that you'll be around tons of other people in a busy place. I would suggest one of the other campgrounds outside of the valley if you want a more secluded experience.

Great location. No hook ups, but lots of rest rooms around with potable water and grey water disposal. Nearby dump station too.

Beautiful and quiet in October, less crowds.

Nice campsite with sweet views of Half Dome. Close to the Merced. The campers behind us played loud music most of the evening which wasn’t the most considerate thing ever but it didn’t take away from the experience.

Easy to get to, good location for hikes, and right on the water. You can see many peaks from most spots in this campground. Would love to stay again.

Great campsite in the valley. Ive always thought it was a bit crowded but with the campground running at 50% capacity it was quite nice.
