Would be nice if you could just sign up for a lottery for some of these campsites. It is very difficult to get one.

From the moment we checked into the. campground, we experienced world class customer service. Mark checked us in, gave is the Yosemite welcome and updated us with the latest closures and guidance on open trails, how to best enjoy our time and recommendations on less explored places in the park... aka Hetch Hetchy. The campground was spotless, the other campers were courteous, and the entire experience was five star. We have been to the park many many times, but this was the first time camping amd did not disappoint. We will be back again next year! PS. Camp Curry store was well stocked and Yosemite Camp was unbelievable in selection. Something for every dietary need. Excellent job to all!

i wish more campground loops were open, there is such high demand, and limited spaces. only 2 loops were open. Bathrooms old, but ok. dump station and water fill available.

The spaces are pretty small, but it was quiet and peaceful, and had a table and fire ring, as expected. The folks at the entrance to the campground were super helpful, and of course, Yosemite was fabulous. We went mid-November, and were lucky enough to be between storms. There was a bit of snow on the ground, and patches of ice here and there. There are several good hikes out the back of this campground, including one to Vernal Falls, which is the one we ended up doing. The beauty of being right there (and not having to catch a shuttle) is that we were up and out at sunrise, and barely saw another soul for the entire hike up; by the time we were heading back down around 10 am, there were folks heading up, but not that many. Beautiful.

The restrooms need updating; and some campsites are so close to each other you might as well be friends with your neighboring campers. The RVers do appear to follow the generator rules by and large but they are still annoying AF. You'll still have fun and will meet people from all around the world. Campgrounds are FAIR at best. Yosemite can't be beat.
