Arrived during the shutdown but staff was there to check me in. I was pleasantly surprised to see that the camp and park are in good condition. Rest rooms were clean. Comfortable campsite.

Our family loves staying in Upper Pines. The campsites are close to Happy Isles and the trailhead for Vernal Falls, and Curry Village. Clean bathrooms, too!

Great site, mostly level. Quiet in the park in spite of being last weekend for the fire falls. Love coming in the shoulder season when it's quiet.

We're locals and rarely go to the Yosemite Valley unless there is a chance to get snowed in. Yosemite is magic in the snow... less people, virgin snow to walk on, and hard not to take too many pictures. And, the campground host (from Auburn area) and ranger (transferred from Kings Canyon/Sequoia) were the best we've met in years!

It was pretty good, the ladies loved the fact that the restroom was right to us but for me....that basically made our campsite basically in the middle of the pathway for everyone else. Whether it being sitting by the fire or just laying on my sleeping bag...people walking by just feets of me kinda annoyed me.

The lights in the bathroom did not work. It would also be nice to have soap provided at the washrooms. That seems like basic sanitation. Also having some signage, perhaps in the bathrooms regarding picking you dog feces and campfire management. Many campers leave there campfire smoking all night or when they leave.

Site is near the bathroom and fellow campers tend to walk through the campsite even it is occupied.

Great spot near bathroom. Shade was decent. Enough room for two tents. I would reserve this spot again.

Nice campground with spacious sites and all sites are in close proximity to a restroom. Great location- of course. Only complaint is a little pricey for not having showers.

For this specific site, the tree branch is very low, and there is a tree at drive side. The tree branch is scratching RV roof~11ft high. The other issue is for this campground, too much smoke compared with lower pine. I don't recommend come to this campground when there is wildfire.

Someone was camped in my site when I arrived with no registration in their window. Camp host had a sign that said off duty. Rangers the next day were very apathetic, putting the blame back on me, telling me I shouldve called 911. Yeah right.

We have stayed at upper pines before and enjoyed it but we found that campers were running there generators outside of the allowed hours. I believe that there should be a more blatant posting of the rules included with the reservation details and/or a posting at the front because the excuse is that they didn't see the rules. It is very annoying and we have one ourselves.

#80 is next to restroom, bright at night.

The campsite had the basics, picnic table, fire ring and place for tent. The sites are very close together, so it seem overpopulated.

Too many people, too many generators. For us, this was simply a place to park the car to ensure we could stay within Yosemite, not drive outside and back again the next day. The price is high for what you get - a picnic table, fire pit and bear locker. We were near the bathroom block, and the lack of consideration from other campers meant that we had people tramping through our site day and night to save walking 10 extra steps to the bathrooms. I would recommend reducing the hours that generators are able operate - nothing kills the camping mood like constant noise from RVs - just was one stopped another one or two started to take it's place. We ended up staying three nights at Hogdson's Meadow CG, which was a much more pleasant experience - much more highly recommended if you want to get away from the RV type 'campers'.
