This campsite is the perfect location to walk to many of the Yosemite sights and trails. Nice shade and decent spacing. Bathrooms are ok, but could do with a bit of love.

Reasonably level campsite at #77 but being on the corner and close to the road meant for even less privacy than usual. The campground location is great for exploring the park. I couldn't find any showers and the restroom a really showing their age. S

Bathroom plumbing was exploding and flooding Great access to hiking trail at Mirror Lake. A better path to restroom would be beneficial as to not walk through someone's campsite or trip on tent ropes.

Upper Pines campground has always been a great experience for us. Some spaces are tighter than others so parking two cars can be a challenge but other than that, location is great, bathrooms mostly clean, water stations, bear box and fire pits all work great.

What an incredible destination! Everything about the Yosemite Valley is breathtakingly beautiful. My only complaints and the reason it didn't get a full 5 stars - there is no showers in the campground itself. You have to walk about 10 minutes to the shower house. Nothing can be done about that obviously, but worth noting! Also the sites are a bit tight and in some cases lack privacy, but that is to be expected for a campground of this size. Would definitely stay again with the understanding that showers are a bit of a walk to get to.

Theres no plug ins for RVs. The sites are close together, but the Park is beautiful and the bathrooms are clean. The campsite is also quiet, this is in part due to limited generator usage.

Yosemite is a special place, no matter the time of year. It is amazing to me the number of people I meet who were raised in California and have not visited this magnificent NP. It is truly a gift.

Rest rooms were clean and tidy. Campsite was clean and leveled. Quiet both nights to sleep. Nothing to complaint about the camp. The weather was perfect. The waterfall was gorgeous in the springtime. For next trip, I will bring my bicycle to ride in the valley. A lot to see, bring your hiking shoes and enjoy the beautiful place.

Absolutely loved staying in this campground. We slept under the tall pine trees and there was space for the kids to run around and make new friends. The grounds have bathrooms (no showers) and places to fill water bottles. Located close to trails so very convenient.

Central to all our planned hikes.

Had a great time! Volunteers and rangers were very nice and helpful. Only reason not excellent was snow piled up against back of pad when we arrived. It was too close to the curb or bumper. Our truck and trailer couldnt fit until we spent 1 hr with a small pick and shovel (which we luckily had in our truck) to dig out the snow and move it away allowing us to back up the trailer further and fit into the space - #77.

Great location for access to everything Yosemite has to offer. Flush toilets, potable water - even in winter.

The park is beautiful, hiking trails are abundance for all levels, autumn crowds was reasonable unlike summer. The campground is average, campground host was rude and unhelpful. “What are generator time? Did you get the campground information sheet, it’s in there”. Need some customer service training.

We are very upset that more campsites are not available for reservations as many sites were empty and the whole back part of Upper Pines is not even available for reservations. We would like to see campfires eliminated as the campgrounds and Valley fill with suffocating smoke.

The campground was nice. It was not too crowded and the bathrooms were clean. Just be aware, that it is in the shade all day and can be chilly. Its best to go to other parts of the park for some sun.
