The upper pines campsites are roomy and well maintained. The toilets are in good condition.

DO NOT remove the log under the table. It keeps the whole table level and balanced, it makes cooking and everything easier if you move it I will get you I swear.

Got lucky and got day-of booking for two nights! Great spot, not too close to neighbors, all of whom were friendly!

The camp hosts were friendly with lots of good information and willingness to assist.Campground and bear boxes were clean and the campground is in a good crossroads area for walking to areas throughout the Vallley.Since this is the only campground partially open during the winter, there aren't a lot of other options.Have stayed here before and plan to return again.

Clean, warm restrooms. Sites and facilities were great.

Because of poor weather I tried to use your much vaunted new cancellation policy. Several online attempts failed and I eventually gave up. If this is an example of how the software works then your goal to encourage cancellations and hence free up campsites for others is doomed to be a complete failure.

great campground. very friendly neighbors. A rechargeable magnetic motion sensor light works excellent in the Bear Boxes! You can leave it inside in the roof and it will light your food boxes every time you open the Bear box and turn off automatically!

In Winter, the ground can be wet and muddy with melting snow, so tent camping is not ideal though doable. I have a camper van so it's perfect for me. Winter in Yosemite is nice if you can handle the cold. It's fairly quiet and the hiking can be good. Bring hiking poles and micro spikes for the ice and snow!

Great campground, busy but quiet, with great views.

Yosemite is always amazing. We usually only go in winter when there is a good chance of snow. So, it was a lot busier than we are used to, but still great.

Always a pleasure to come to Yosemite. The rangers do an excellent job in informing us of the precautions we need to take to stay safe. Very professional when communicating what is expected of us, the visitors. Feel very safe coming to Yosemite. Thanks to all the staff that make it happen.

We found a last minute cancellation and drove up there for a three night four day visit and could not have asked for a better time. I have been to Yosemite many times over the years but not usually this early in the season but it worked out. Snow was cleared enough to make the vast majority of the valley accessible. The crowds were non-existent compared to the summer months and all of the staff we encountered were super nice, friendly and helpful. I really have no complaints at all. Thanks so much.

Good

Fantastic location close to Curry Camp, Muir/Mist trailhead, and bike trails. Great (well, only) option if you can find a spot, even without showers due to Covid limitations. Be prepared - there is no soap in restroom and a dearth of electric plugs if you need to charge phone or headlamp.Experience was mostly good, but camp hosts/rangers need to make a greater effort to enforce quiet hours and cancellation/modification charges are ridiculous and inflexible.Site 75 is directly across road from day parking, so if you're tent camping, prepare to rise to headlights & loud Half Dome hikers at 4:30.
