As always, a great stay. First time riding bikes through the valley. Stopped and asked a man working on the yard of his grey bungalow near a meadow, Whats a guy gotta do to get this spot?. He chuckled and replied, Work for low wages. Amen to that, brother. What I wouldnt give. Keep up the great work, team.

Our campsite was spacious and in a great location, close to Happy Isles. There was enough room for two large tents since our group consisted of two families. The closest bathroom needs some improvements because there was no soap dispenser and one of the doors on the stalls did not close/latch properly.

Only 2 loops were open. The second loop restroom light was broken but water was running. The camp hosts were very welcoming and knowledgeable. Be prepared for hikers to cut through or next to site 74 as they return from the Mist trail.

Beautiful and super clean campground! Restroom is near by and toilet flushes! Ice rink was a good 40min round trip walk. Park ranger came around once at night and in the morning so we all felt safe! Would definitely do it again!

Upper Pines has some of the best sites in the valley. Have been a regular for 40+ years!

I loved this campground. If you get a site on the edge of the campground you can view the mountains outside your tent. This site has bear resistant trash receptacles and food storage areas and staff to deter bears at night, so we slept without fear. Birds and squirrels hung around the site--we didn't feed them of course, but they were adorable companions. I plan to return!

As always, the setting and campsite are stellar. And as always, generators are making a dent into the camping experience for people who choose not to haul their entire household into Yosemite.

Everything was really clean and nice. The location is great, it's right next to Curry Village for shopping/food and close to popular trails like The Mist Trail. Campground has flushable toilets and clean bathrooms. Some spots seem to have phone reception, although ours (74) did not. The couple who was working the front gate were very kind and helpful and had lots of informative information. Totally recommend!

Had to switch sites almost every day even though only there 4 days. Many campsites vacant everywhere. Many campsites closed for'volunteers'. No buses. Traffic a mess road all torn up with no one working on it. People were nice though.

We loved our experience at Upper Pines Campground! We had plenty of space at our campsite and were very centrally located. The bear lockers were located right at our site, which was super convenient. The scenery surrounding us was breathtaking!

Well-organized and warm welcome. Really happy to be among shady trees since it was so hot during the day. Lots of bats but no bears, likely thanks to the solid bear boxes and good instruction. Although it was stressful to secure a site within the park, I’m glad we got to experience it.

Hella dope views dude, bears were tight, trails were tighter. Defo reco this site for anyone wanting to trek the gnar that is Yosemite while crashin' locale ya know? Rangers were cool, even got one to give me their patented chili mac recipe while we sat around the campfire sharing stories of our past lives

The restrooms were clean and felt safe during COVID. With the Upper Pines campsite at 50% capacity it helped reduce crowds. We rented bikes and a trailer for two days and it was a great way to get around while the shuttles are not in service.
