The campground is clean and the park ranges are very nice to explain the facilities in the campsite and the park ranges are.

Id never leave if given the option. Thank you to Yosemite NPS for everything! And the Park Rangers who care. A campsite next to us was consistent on leaving food outside of bear boxes and they would come each night to make sure it was safe for all campers.

The restrooms were unheated in the winter, so I took the shuttle use the restroom at Cuddy, which were heated.

Dec 18 Yosemite national park upper pine campground. The snowy landscape is one of the most unforgettable memories in my life. Clean toilets and friendly staff..The location is the best for hiking.

We were in spot 73 and were very happy with it. Close enough to a restroom, on the outside of the loop so plenty of space and privacy. Easy walk to Mist Trail/John Muir trail to see Nevada and Vernal Falls, easy walk to bus stop to access the rest of the park if you want to go that route.

We had an excellent time. We stayed close to the bathrooms which was convenient but also a bit problematic as the lights stayed on shining into my tent until 12:30 most nights. The bear boxes are huge, easily fitting all the food and toiletries for a family of 6 staying a full week. We had easy access to a lot of great trail heads and shuttle stops. If you can bring a bike or rent bikes its definitely recommended because the bike trail is amazing.

Yosemite, Yosemite, Yosemite....what has happened to you? My family has been coming to Yosemite since the 1950's, and it was always a pleasant experience. My parents brought me, I have brought my children there many times, and now recently my grandchildren. What a dump. Yosemite has gone too woke for its own good. The theme of the Park now is "people do not belong". And they prove that point by allowing the Park to denigrate into visual blight. Roads are a mess, walkways and paths for pedestrian use are full of pot holes, crumbling asphalt, the bus loading areas are a disgrace. Yosemite is definitely NOT ADA Compliant. Camp Curry and Yosemite Village eating area tables are filthy with grime, dirt, and the hundreds of other people that used the tables spillage. There was supposed to be a Welcome Center in Yosemite Village, but we are going on 10 years to complete that. The bus service at the height of the tourist season June 2022, had 4 buses running. The excuse was they could not hire any bus drivers. The stores were understaffed, which resulted in lines 10 to 15 people deep. There is a Peet's Coffee in Curry Village, good luck trying to find out when it opens. Always seems to be closed. The campground restroom facilities look the same as when I was a kid. They allegedly clean them daily, but their appearance does not reveal that. Be careful of all the trip hazards around the park. They leave piles of fallen trees and slash everywhere, which distracts from the beauty that once was. I am not sure where all the funding goes for our National Parks, but it surely is not going to maintaining the Parks for ALL to enjoy. I hear National Parks out of California are much better managed and maintained. Don't get me started on the California State Parks....they are in the same boat.

It seems ridiculous to me that I would drive 6 hours to go to one of the most beautiful (natural) places on the planet only to suffer air quality that is at least 10x worse than at my home in Los Angeles. It seems ridiculous to me that in these days of severe climate change, horribly destructive western fires, with all the damage and medical issues resulting from exposure to smoke and ash, you are still permitting campfires. The Park Service should step forward here and take the lead -- BAN WOOD FIRES in all national parks. It's especially egregious in Yosemite Valley, as the "bowl" (created by the surrounding granite wall) limits wind/air circulation and the smoke just hangs. If there is a slight breeze, and one's campsite happens to be adjacent to and downwind of a neighbor's fire, it's quite awful. Visitors who have had a history of lung/respiratory issues are at risk here, and for what? So luddites can make s'mores? So it's "fun" for pyromaniacs? Just say NO to fires in the forests. Smallest issue but still an unnecessary annoyance: We've been ventilating our camper for 5 straight days and it STILL has a residue odor of wood smoke.

This site has been a favorite of our family for quite some time. It is spacious and far enough from the other campers to have some privacy. The restrooms are clean.

Just a well-kept, well-run campground. Sites on the outside of the loops are all pretty well-spaced and facilities are solid (only complaint is no soap in the bathrooms). They do a good job of education at check-in and things were very quiet. Overall very pleased with a beautiful stay in an absolutely amazing park.

Went up to see the Horsetail Falls firefall , but due to lack of water, it didn't happen. Had a fantastic time anyway, with picture perfect bluebird sky's and great temperatures. Snowed two days after we left which I missed, but had a great time.

Weve been to Yosemite 8 times and love coming back every time. The campgrounds are in a great location. Theyre close to all the trails and if you bring bikes you never have to drive anywhere.
