The bathrooms were not clean, and there was no toilet paper or hand soap available. The potable water dispensers for drinking were out of service, which was inconvenient for visitors. The camper vans were parked next to the tents, creating a lot of noise due to their power generators. In my case, they even turned on a home theater system, which caused additional disturbances. It would be ideal to separate the areas designated for campers from those for tent campers to avoid these types of issues. The ground in the camping area is rustic, and after rain or snow, it remains completely wet, making it difficult to rest comfortably. By comparison, in Zion N.P., they use fine gravel, which not only helps level the ground under the tent but also provides a more pleasant camping experience.Additionally, the website stated that the campground was fully booked when I tried to reserve three months in advance. However, upon arrival, the actual occupancy was only 60%.

Very friendly and helpful hosts upon check-in. Relatively clean washrooms. Showers next door at Currie are awesome! Sani-dump/water fill & garbage close by. Only complaint is that the spots are packed in right next to each other, but maybe that's an NPS thing to expect.

We were so stoked to get a last minute campsite in Upper Pines! Every site has a fire ring, picnic table and bear box. The bathrooms seemed to have only cold water and no soap, but they were pretty clean. We would absolutely camp here again for easy access to tons of trails from the valley and hot showers not far away! Basicallt zero service with T-mobile in the valley. Not an issue if you want to unplug completely!
