Host was very friendly and respectful of my site. Restroom was clean. Firepit and bear box were clean. I would love if there was an alternative to the large dumpster and trash truck for early morning noise.

The campsite is perfect, with everything you need. The best trails are close by.

Thanks again to the Ranger, who organized a spot on short term for us.Our daughter became a junior ranger at arrival. It was a great experience to camp with our RV at this fantastic campground including a lot of nice hikes.

The people were great and helpful. It was easy to walk to showers and the store and there was hiking within walking distance. Drove in in the dark after seeing the firefall and the signage was a little difficult to interpret.

Campgrounds in the valley are definitely in a picturesque place. But the campsites themselves leave a little to be desired. The campsites are very close and we found many rvs running their generators for long periods in the evening. But if you're social that means you get to meet your neighbors! 3 stars because it's a very very active campground with not a lot of privacy for tents especially.

The bathrooms are very close to this site. It would be great if they would tint the bathroom windows dark, so that the bathrooms inside were bright, but it wouldnt bother the campers to have that bright light on all night. Maybe mark the corners with a red light thats less intrusive and put tint on the windows other than that, its always a great relaxing time.

Loved our stay. Site 48 is smallish and right next to the bathroom. We'll try for a larger site next time. But we were so grateful just to camp in the Valley!

Great location central to the valley and main attractions. Campsite is very small and youll be right up against your neighbors. Zero privacy. Also right next to the bathrooms so inconsiderate people will be walking through your campsite.

Good Location by the bathrooms and drinking water but water was off for the winter. THe Campsite next to us was a lake. There was a strom the day before we got there with snow and rain on saturday to Sunday. Other than the rain great trip bears were in the area but didnt see any.

Overall campground is fine but not much space between sites. You will get to know your neighbors whether you want to or not. Site 48 is right next to the bathroom. Heard the flushing of toilets all night (rather loud) and people congregrating outside.

Great location towards the end of the valley. Campgrounds were very mellow and quiet. Note that for campsites right next to bathrooms, the lights stay on all night.

We enjoyed our trip to Yosemite immensely! The campground was exactly as it was in the photos, which is not always the case. My husband has limited mobility, and the park rangers and staff were very helpful in giving us guidance to navigate the park. We were allowed access many places that we had not expected to be able to see by car, but you are driving on a bike/hike path, so you must be respectful of pedestrians, hikers, families with small children, dogs and bikes. We appreciated the heated restrooms, which were admittedly a bit messy and quite fragrant, but they were very conveniently located throughout the park. We visited in March and it was quite chilly, but we were happy to be there when it was not very crowded and not during the summer heat. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Level sites in a great location. It's busy, but yosemite valley is a popular place. You walk from camp site to Mirror Lake, Mist Trail, Half Dome, bike rentals at Curry Village. Just a great spot.

Upper Pines is a great campsite. A minute walk from the Merced River. 048 is a nice site but its right next to the bathroom. Youll have a light constantly on during the night and other guests walking through your site. Not the most ideal. Overall, I love just being in Yosemite NP.

Air quality was amazing and campground was in very good shape. Restroom near our sight was well stocked and cleaned, Rangers were friendly and helpful. We rode bikes up to Mirror Lake which was very pleasant as once we got there, there were only a couple dozen people there max. We hung around the campground for our stay and was delighted by the fact that there really weren't many people around. Upon leaving we stopped at Cloud's Rest and with us included there were less than 12 people up there. Great trip given the circumstances.

We were so happy to be able to reserve a spot at Upper Pines! The Valley was beautiful in late October with clear, sunny days and cold, crisp nights. We rode our bikes all over the Valley, hiked and generally had a wonderful time. We saw a beautiful coyote near the campground and a mama bear and her cub as we were cleaning our trailer tanks at the dump station.
