The camp hosts, Christine and Darren, were fantastic! They were knowledgeable, helpful, and enthusiastic.

The facilities are clean and heated! In November crowds are gone and of course the valley is beautiful.

Liked our campsite -- close to two bathrooms which were both kept clean. One bathroom had just one stall available during one day but the other had 3 stalls available. Very quiet after 10pm. Check-in was smooth and check-in person was very nice.

All in All a good week in Yosemite- it was pretty cold at night- so difficult for sitting outside to utilize the fire ring- or enjoy the night sky- yes it was December- so to be expected. Our neighbor camp site had 6 people- so very noisy- as they were tent campers- it seems like that could be separated a bit more- super nice- just loud. The trails away from the valley floor basically had no one on them- was very nice- a bobcat walked right past us- which was very cool- beautiful scenery as always - nice cold weather- good way to get out in December

Overall a nice stay, Im thankful for getting cheap accomodation in Yosemite Valley. The campground is a bit more cramped than other campgrounds Ive visited, but not too bad. Most sites are close to bathrooms. There you can also find water bottle refill stations. No soap at the bathrooms. The campsites with lower numbers are closer to the entrance/exit while the higher numbers are further away but closer to the Mist Trail trailhead. There is a place you can dip your feet in the river close to the entrance (no shower facilities). The check in had limited opening hours (10am-4pm) so if you arrive after 4pm, and want to start hiking early the next day, you might lose your campsite if you have booked for several days (as I understood it).

Amazing campground with very well maintained amenities. The location is perfect as it is right next to the trailhead for Mist Trail and it is perfect for stargazing because of the low light pollution.

Of course Spectacular views and surroundings, Campground still had quite a bit of snow so not the most user friendly for maneuvering a trailer, but happy to have a fire and be in the park. Bathrooms kept clean and toasty warm, host are very nice and assigned rangers very knowledgeable and friendly. I thanked the ranger for taking the time to clean up a campsite that campers had left with trash and unattended kitchen and food, that was a shame to have to witness. People need to be more aware.....
