We had an amazing time. The sites are wide enough that you can really enjoy the surroundings, and people in the campground were very respectful of noise. Will come back for sure

My only complaint would be that the dump station was not on the map, so we had a spot too close to our site diminishing our view, otherwise the valley is magical!

it was the password reset making the reservation. I was trying to get june reservation and it forced me to respond to an email. i only had email on my phone then it would not let me select the date. I had selected the june date on my work PC it date not carry over nor let change or even check it on phone. The when I got home and added a date after selecting june it kocked back to jan somehow. It was a dismal experience using the reservation system. I tried to cancel but no refund. Guess I should have taken time off of work. I did not go it was not what i wanted. phone interface is bad for older people. would let me use password created on work PC. Please make this able to handle the load at least. Obviously seems like the reservation system was unprepared. it was wonky

Stayed 1 night in lot 37. Campground as a whole doesnt offer much privacy however the scenery makes it all worthwhile. Great location to explore the park. Stayed in September so no issues with partying. Would be nice if there were multiple lanes to get into the campground so you dont need to wait when others arriving are checking in. Some noise coming from new services being installed to cater to campers.

Campgrounds were okay - bathrooms were mostly clean. Generators have time limits due to noise - wish there was more regulations on music and dogs barking/whining. We saw three rangers (twice in car, once on bicycle) go past the campsite next door, which had a cooler sitting on top of the bear box and plenty of trash, yet noone seemed to notice. Buses were a little confusing - good thing they went in circles! Bus drivers were pretty good at announcing stops and answering questions about the routes. The only place that was a little lacking was Yosemite Lodge, which only had one pickup - we had to ride the bus all the way around to get where we needed to go. Schedule was a bit sporadic when we first arrived; there were many new drivers also. New road closure was a nightmare - it took us 20 minutes to get from the Curry parking lot through to the line for our campground. (That's a lot of emissions, and a lot of gas money wasted!) I have never left either the Village Store or Yosemite Lodge giftshop empty handed until this trip - both were slimly stocked and didn't really have anything that interested me. Loved the new "Welcome Center" in the village - it looked fresh and clean (our grandsons loved playing on the concrete steps). We were looking forward to the new visitor center, as I was told it was very hands-on; perhaps for older kids who can read it would be more appropriate. Our grandsons liked the teepees outside most of all. The new(er) trail up to the base of Yosemite Falls was very nice; it makes it easy for anyone to get to it! The only difficulty was getting a bus back to the campgrounds; only the long route was available. We did the Happy Isles loop on our bikes. The bike trail is very nice. Bathrooms at village not clean; not great standards by Aramark. Texting to report campground problems would be great, for both the host and reporter; if there is a pattern in problems, host could investigate at their convenience. Maybe offer a phone for this?

We loved this campground. It is located by 2 of our favorite hikes which was Mist Trail and Mirror Lake. We rode our bikes everywhere and our truck never left the campground once we park it. The Park Rangers at the entrance booth were very nice and helpful. We recommend this campground to anyone visiting Yosemite and you won't be disappointed. What a magical place!

Campground roads were a little icy. Site was plowed but ice boulders remained at back of site. Snow was approximately 3 feet deep.

My friend and I stayed 3 nights in space 37. We had an amazing time and a very memorable experience. 4x4s highly recommend during the snowy season

I had to check website a dozen times before I found a campsite available for two consecutive nights.
But most of the campsites in Yosemite Valley are closed for the winter. It is crazy to make it so difficult to visit when the Valley is less crowded. I am sure having another 100 sites available would pay for themselves.

Finally the garbage trucks picking up the dumpsters were incredibly noisy. A little padding would eliminate the booming clanging noises that are inappropriate in a National Park campground!

I thought the staff was very nice and the facilities, such as bathrooms, well kept. Some (most?) sites have nice views. They tend to be close together on two sides, but can open into large clearings.

It's never bad getting a campsite in the valley. However. UP site #37 is cut too close to the next site.

Great location to everything. Minutes drive to the nearby store.

As a frequent visitor to Yosemite, this was the most disappointing campout in 60 years. Garbage, unattended fires, dogs and their poop everywhere, generators running at all hours, people playing their music so loudly on their phones (not respectful to their fellow campers), dogs all over trails, masking unenforced with hundreds of people on the trails, many ignoring the CLOSED trail signs and just doing whatever they please, people driving on the wrong side of the roads and parking on beaches, and most disturbing of all...the amount of tree death. It looks like a graveyard from one end of the valley to the other. And an unmaintained one. The amount of tree litter is a fire hazard waiting to happen and then what?? Trapped in the valley with no way out and fuel to burn everything and everyone in the 7 mile stretch that makes up Yosemite Valley. I will not be returning. A chapter closed after 6 decades of joy. It is just not fun anymore. AND not well tended to.

A wonderful experience in Yosemite Valley. We were very lucky to land 4 nights at this campsite due to a last minute cancellation. Beautiful views through the trees and a short distance to many hiking trails.
