The restrooms are clean. Campsites are well maintained with bear box being clean and lock in good condition. Restrooms even have warm drier. Amazing campground.

We were in a rented class c cruise america motorhome and had no reservation. It was so nice to pull up and get a two day stay the weekend before Thanksgiving. It was raining and cold, but fun none the less. Appreciate having the shuttle to get around the park, especially in the rain. the campsite itself was decent, good spacing and clean bathrooms.

Very nice location with easy public transportation around the Valley. Camp host was very nice and the rangers were very helpful!

Excellent amenities and location. Be prepared for it to be crowded and loud with RVs and generators.

Came for my annual photo shoot of horsetail falls-- camping is typical in the campground that has been around in the early 50's and evidence is that the spaces for parking were designed for vehicles from back then.... amusing to watch a 35' motorhome try to navigate certain parts of the campground-- most the campground loops used to be open-- now only two loops which makes it hard to find camps-- recreation.gov needs to address the lack of penalty for no show campers-- which in both times camping in february there were many unoccupied sites late at night --- this is happening everywhere and these sites could be used by others-- something needs to be done about this issue-- thanx

Winter is a great time to visit Yosemite Valley in a motorhome. The shuttle was very convenient to the campground and the uncrowded bike riding was great.

Unfortunately there were other campers causing a disturbance, first by loud rowdy voices and then a full on fight. We were thankful that park police responded quickly. We would have been more comfortable if officials were more visible before that.

Fortunate to get to stay one night in the valley, as always the booking website claim that the campground was full turned out to be false, they had plenty of unattended campsites, however its impossible to book online, the system is incorrect and obviously broken., they even had a sign up saying that thy had campsites available, however it was impossible to use the website.

First time camping in the valley and during winter! Loved our campground as is surrounded of trails, the Merced River, and curry village. The campgrounds are well maintained, bathrooms are clean and they also have water to wash dishes! Im definitely coming back soon!

Upper Pines is the best place to camp in Yosemite Valley. Its close to Happy Isles,Curry Village, and the trail to Mirror Lake. Ive stayed there dozens of times and always enjoy each trip. Yosemite Village has a great grocery store and breakfast or lunch at Degnans is always filling and tasty.

Came in February - was wonderful. Firefall's more than busy and if you want to try to see it/get parking, show up early + be prepared to deal with crowds of people not taking COVID seriously.

Highlight would be the Upper Yosemite falls hike, which is open through winter (albeit snowed-in on the top-half). Beautiful views of the valley below.

It's Yosemite, and you're reading a review about it despite already knowing its reputation. Go, already.

Has a very nice one-night stay with a very snowy landscape (February). It rained all night, but we were prepared for that. Nice, clear day the next morning, but clouds rolled in just before sunset, so "Firefall" viewing opportunity was not to be.

You have shut down 90% of the park presumably because of COVID. Washing hands with soap an water is the most effective defense against contracting the virus yet there was no soap in the restrooms. There was soap in all the restrooms throughout the park but not in the campground restrooms! Weird!!

I use Tmobile and found that there was no cell service but I did have LTE. LTE was almost unusable during the evening, presumably because there were too many people (note this is during upper pines at 50% capacity due to COVID-19). However in the early morning I was able to use LTE without any issues.
