Our Upper Pines site 34 was well situated near the water supply and where you would dump your wash water. While the campground was full, it was quiet and we were one of a few trailers in the campground. There is a dump site near the entrance, but we were able to manage our grey water by collecting it in the sink and easily dumping it at the restroom building where there is a separate room for dumping water. Beautiful and situated near great day hike areas.

We loved our stay at this campsite! It has plenty of space for tents (We had 3!). It was near the restroom (which unfortunately was down to one stall, one sink, and was a bit dirty). The views of the mountains were beautiful. We were so close to the Merced River, and we were able to walk to the trailhead of the popular mist trail. No one in the group had cell service, but isn't that part of the beauty of camping? Definitely recommend staying here if you can manage to book a site.

This is an amazing campground. Clean and maintained. Plus the camp hosts were super nice. The campground is in the heart of Yosemite Valley and walking distance to many trailheads, readily accessible bike paths, and shuttle stops. This is a must do for those that love nature and the outdoors.

We have been to this camp ground twice now. The first time we absolutely loved the experience but this last time was not so. The park was crowded with very little camp sites and the neighbors were intruding our lines with their tents and chairs. Considering its almost $40 a night and an entrance fee I expected slightly larger sites where my tent opening isnt 10 from my neighbors tents front door. On one side we had a small Woodstock group playing instruments and singing until the quiet time of 20:00 and on the wide side we had a group that wouldnt stop yelling at each other cursing non stop. Considering this trip was to get away from the hustle of people, de-stress from life, and enjoy quality time with my wife in beautiful surroundings, I feel as if that just didnt happen. It was costly to go up there and camp out and Im really disappointed this last time with the placement is our site
