Installation are old and just good to tear down. Most of it actually in the park need upgrade, we visit must of the major national park this year and Yosemite is the worst if all.

While we received many messages for availability. it was IMPOSSIBLE to get even one day. We have never missed a year with our family and friends in over 40 years. I know there was only half sites available. The option was basically unavailable. Lots of options but immediate response did not work for thousands of campers

Camp site is always great. Potable water is always available and Park Rangers are always on top of their game. Sadly bikes rentals are only available on spring and summer but thatll be another reason to come back. Always come back

Great campground with spectacular views of all the mountains, insanely beautiful to see them during both sunrise and sunset as a source of inspiration. Amazing trails near this campground which are walking distance away. Campfires allowed on this campground which is amazing for cooking stuff while staying here. Cell service was not the best here but would improve when near the bathrooms. Bring your own hand soap if you care about that kind of thing because there is none in the restrooms at this campground.

Winter camping in Yosemite (mid-March). Great site and location. It is one of their smaller sites (18ft length maximum I believe), but faces towards a meadow, so no immediate neighbors in that direction. A bit lively during the day, but quiet during official quiet hours. Water spigots are shut off during the winter, so water needs to be procured elsewhere.

Sites very small and some people did not respect the noise timelines which was frustrating to hear generators going at 6 in the morning in such a beautiful setting. Great location. Bathrooms have no soap which seemed odd.

The campground is very crowd with limited privacy. During the dinner time, fire smoke and barbeque smells are strong due to the location at bottom of the valley and in the middle of dense forest. We were struggling to book only one night at site #011, which was luckily located at norther edge area. All site is pretty flat without need to level our RV. One toilet within each loop and clean. Water tank refill and waste water discharge station is close to entrance conveniently. In general, it is a GOOD facility with high competitiveness to book due to precious location inside of the Valley. So, the value of the location is very much justifiable to any other minor issues. However, if I come next time, I would rather stay in Diamond-O near Hetch Hetch.

Camping was good. Just a lot of ice when trying to walk around. But was great to see all the sights covered in snow.

Had a great two night tent camping stay. The ground was snow covered and the temps were above freezing during the day and below freezing at night. The fire ring was used and we all enjoyed the fire both evenings with wood from the general store in Curry Village. The bathrooms were warm and clean. Check in was quick and easy with friendly rangers reviewing the pertinent rules.

Camping at Yosemite has always been about escape, serenity, beauty and time with nature . The first morning back being able to camp again after 2 years we were jolted out of our bed with the start up of a generator next door at 7:20 am . We asked them to turn it off and they did . I was shocked they were allowed that early in the valley . Then every evening generators . Is this really a necessity in the park ? Or if it is , can there be designated areas only for those who need generators or only certain size generators , for those that enjoy sleeping under the stars , listening to the river and birds. Or at least only limit hours to 2 hours mid day when most are out of their campsites. 6 hours a day is too much and is focused solely when everyone is back to enjoy their time at camp. One camper had it on for 2 hours every evening - I felt so bad for those near them ( and we have an RV too as well) With multiple going , its all you can hear . Been camping here for 52 years, my parents and grandparents before me. I hope there is a solution to the use of generators in the valley soon. The ranger was nice and gave us a comment form to fill out for the superintendent. But every night we were hopeful another vehicle with a generator did not move in to the site next to us . Thank you .

The winter months can be the best for a valley visit (Jan-March), there is still available campsites and the valley is not crowded. The snow capped views with amazing falls make for outstanding photo's. That said there can be snow, and it will be cold, the park plows the site spaces but they can be tight fits as some winters there is more snow then others. Because much of the valley is paved there is still an opportunity to hike, ride a bike or drive to see much of the stellar views.

Loved the snow and the space. The Rangers were great! We checked in after hours and they came the next morning to check us in. Even though it was winter and surprisingly packed, it still felt quiet and private. Overall- had a great experience.

Bathroom near our site, dirty and frequently without TP. Where's the daily cleaning and restock? Group in site next to us had 20 - 30 people there. Sure, most were probably in different sites, but where's the supervision? They were not quiet past 10PM, drinking and parting. I get people coming in late from hikes and out early as that is a fact for camping and in those cases it is low noise, not the persistent loud talking laughing keeping all up. Again where is the rangers making rounds? Always good to see the ravens/crows in the AM scavenging on food left out on tables over night. You have a bear issue, well this doesn't help.

Our campsite was great! Plenty of space with great hammock if trees. I would come back in a heart beat. We could easily see the people in the campsites around us, but the sites were large enough that’s you didn’t feel crowded. Cell coverage is limited at the campground, but T-Mobile and Verizon both get better reception as you get closer the the village.

This site was nice. On the edge of the campgrounds, which are big and somewhat densely packed, so we felt like we had our own little space without being too far from the bathrooms. Some of the firepits have a grill grate that is locked in place; ours swiveled over the fire and out of the way, which was great. The site is a little farther from the Mist Trail and Mirror Lake trailheads, but what's a little extra walk in Yosemite Valley? It's also a short walk to Curry Village, which has food options, a shower house, a mountaineer shop (closed currently due to COVID), and several bouldering problems. Also, the rangers who checked our site every day were firm when one of our cars was parked improperly (expected), and flexible when we jumped to move it (appreciated!).

Campground was quiet and especially peaceful by day, when everyone is off exploring of course. Views of half dome were a wonderful surprise, as well as easy river and trail access. Will definitely be back. Don’t forget to bring your own soap to the restroom, and no showers. Very pleasant park rangers.

My campsite was fine, #11, although when I returned in the evening to go to sleep at about 8 pm, the small camper next to me had a loud generator running. I was not happy and there was no one in the entrance booth to talk with about it. I go to Yosemite to enjoy the quiet beauty, not to hear a generator.

If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
