Upper Pines Campground never disappoints. The setting is absolutely beautifulwaking up surrounded by Yosemites scenery is hard to beat. The campground is well maintained, peaceful, and perfectly located for exploring the park. The hosts truly make the experience even better; they are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. Its one of those places you look forward to returning to again and again.

We love this place! We were a family of six and we really liked the location and the spaciousness of the campsites. The bathrooms were clean and heated. I also liked the proximity to hiking and climbing trails. We will definitely be back.

Good but neighbors generator use and barking dogs put a damper on the trip

Bike trails should be paved all the way to bridal veil falls that would make the entire valley accessable by bikes

Yosemite is spectacular but this camping experience was not great. 1 working women's toilet for the entire loop of campers and severe flooding after a night of rain. Of course the rain is in no one's control but the poor people in tents were completely flooded and no refunds for cancelling because it was within 24 hours. Who wants to go back for another soggy night?

It is well located, but the sites do not offer a great deal of privacy.

The best camping in Yosemite

Bathrooms were in poor condition and the campsites are in very close proximity to each other. BUT you’re in Yosemite so you put up with it.

Nice, quiet campground surrounded by trees with lots of shade. Individual fire pits and food storage. Walkable to vernal falls trail, you can hear the rive running near by. ***Camp fires only allowed 5pm-10pm***

I am very happy that Upper Pines stays open all winter. Love winter camping and this is a very special place!

For a smallish RV not needing services, it was quite good. A foot of snow on the ground was beautiful but inconvenient. Yosemite is worth it though.

Site 10 was pretty nice. Of course youre pretty tight up with neighbors at Upper Pines, but it was all good on this trip. Prefer the restrooms over at Curry Village, not really enough at Upper Pines for how many guests. Quiet after 10, great location, good times!

The park is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. The campground is standard without any problems. Well organized with good facility in a village.

Very impressive location and the campground is close to great hikes for all ages. Cold in winter. Do not expect a lot of privacy as you will be close to others and tents and RV are placed together, which can make a very noisy camping experience.

Great campsite, had all the facilities we needed for a three night stay. Loved seeing the wide range of different camping set ups!

What a strange time to be camping. Wearing masks on the trail, Covid-19 precautions, half-full campground that felt full and most water faucets shut off. However, I had a good time....I would like to return in winter if possible. The rangers are excellent as always and the store was even open on Thanksgiving! Just watch out for the crows!! They're sneaky bastards, HA!

I was so disappointed that, in late October, with many people not showing up for their campsites, it's no longer possible for the rangers at the kiosk to issue campsites that are cancelled. You MUST go online and my husband and I wasted TWO HOURS in the campground trying to get a site using our phones. Power to issue unclaimed campsites or cancelled sites should be returned to the rangers at the campground kiosk. What a waste.
