The campground and campsite were well maintained. The weather was rainy, especially at night. The rain rewarded us with rapids on the Merced River and raging waterfalls!

Lots of open space and a nice view. The headlights of cars entering the campground take some getting used to, but nothing too bad.

We stayed in site 3 with a 21 foot towable and full-size truck from Thursday, March 27 to Saturday, March 29. The site was level and close to the shuttle bus stop with an amazing view of half dome. It was an easy hike to Mirror Lake and all the waterfalls were running at full force. The camp hosts were very friendly. The park was not very busy and we even had our pick of seats in the main hall at the Awhanee Hotel. Great site, can't wait to stay there again next year.

A great place to stay within Yosemite Valley. The free shuttle bus stop is nearby and the buses run every 15 minutes. Water spigot and wastewater dump are located in the bathroom area, so there is a bit of a walk to and from the campsite. The trees and ravens add so much character to the area.

Such a beautiful place. Warm bathrooms!! Walking distance to a pizza place :)) Great place to bike around. Access to showers. But the best part was the campground hosts. They were awesome in every way!

Great visit to Yosemite Upper Pines campground. Ground was snow. Bathroom had heat which was nice since it was 22 degrees.

My complaint is having to wait 45 minutes burning up gas emitting green house gasses to get through the park gate. The campground was nice, everything else was nice. Thanks Brek

How about meeting the needs of the public you supposedly serve, and leaving Lower Pines open until winter? The demand is always greater than the supply in Yosemite.

It was nice and convenience.

Yosemite is beautiful, but no one is taking care of the campground. No toilet paper in the bathrooms, disgusting spot to fill up with fresh waterjust has the vibe that no one cares about keeping the place clean.

great spot, right by entrance but nice view and open space

Restroom facilities need to be upgraded. We pay enough in taxes and entrance fees.

The best of the best. Close to Curry, the Mist & John Muir trails, and open year-round.

It seems like only every other camp site was open making it a little more quiet and private.

I arrived in an electric car, which had its challenges, but there was an open and free level 2 charger near the Yosemite Village Store (but only 1) that allowed me to charge at no cost while I explored Yosemite Village. There was another electric vehicle waiting for me to leave when I got back to my car.

I was amazed at the gear used by the other campers... some unusual tents and equipment. Perhaps you just get the "experts" in October.

It is a pine forest surround by Yosemite's granite cliffs. It is an amazing site.

Amazing Trip!!! Upper Pines was an awesome campsite. We brought bikes and were able to get everywhere we wanted without a car or YARTS working. We will definitely come back!!!

Great location, within walking distance of the valley floor and river, and right on the shuttle route
