We were near the entrance and right by trash and recycling bins. The noise of people depositing trash and recycling was noticeable until surprisingly late in the evening, 10 pm. The sites further away from the entrance would have been a better choice. The park is beautiful, pick a spot, you can't go wrong.

We had a great experience. Nice campground. I can recommend doing the valley loop trail and hike up the snow creek trail. Theres easy access from the campground.

Slushy and muddy in early spring, but the location is hard to beat. Epic views from campsites. Sites are close together, but neighbouring groups were quiet or friendly.

Stayed in Site 1 on first night and its perfect. We have to move to Site 47 the next day for the second night due to booking unavailability of site 1. Site 47 is right next to the bathroom. We are close to a group of people and we are bothered with their noise, playing music and loud voices past quiet hours after 10 pm and not aware of people around them that wants to relax and wants peace. We also smelled a smoke of marijuana on the same group but everything else is perfect. Campground is nearby to popular trails and curry village.

I was not happy with your police patrol. They came into my camp site and demanded my license. They made me feel like a criminal.

Great stay in Yosemite valley - bathrooms clean, site all in orderonly bad experience is that people stole rental bikes while we left them for few minutes in front of the Ahwahnee, so bring a lock...

It was a beautiful campground! Everything was so clean and the beauty was just amazing!! We did have a problem with our trailer and went to the Park Rangers, I asked for help and was shocked at how rude they were to me. I have to say, I have always had respect to what they do for our Nation but was in awe in how they spoke to me and in awe in the lack in helpfulness towards me and my family. I was so saddened by this display of lackluster on their part. I am handicapped to top it all off and we were in a real bind, we ended up figuring it out so its fine. Again, the park was beautiful and we were so happy to notice that there was not even a piece of trash anywhere! Keep it up :)

There is supposed to be a 6 person restriction for each campsite, and at night our neighbors had more than 15 people at their campsite and it got a bit loud.

Perfect location! Very clean bathrooms, and the park ranger at the check in gate was very helpful and had a lot of knowledge about the campground, safety requirements, and preparing us for bears in the area. Large bear boxes, and even though our campsite was right next to the road it wasn't loud at all. I reserved this site VERY short notice after what I assume was someone cancelling, and it was my first time at Yosemite. Definitely recommend, as it is a short drive to the rest of the valley for views of the park, as well as a short walk to major hiking trails. I will definitely be back!

Good place to stay. Very friendly and supportive staff. Quiet at night. Access to clean water. Clean toilets. Everything is taken good care of.We didn't have good experience with our fallow visitors though. Our firewood was stolen. We bough a new one. It was stolen again. Bring your pin-lock and keep your stuff in the locked food box.
