Great campsite within the national park.Plenty of space, a fire pit plus a picnic bench. Two toilet blocks within a 60 second walk and curry village is approx a 15 minute walk for supplies.

The signal might be poor, but you can enjoy the beautiful galaxy without social media's harassment. The bathroom is quite clean and the location is convenient and also quiet.

Really smoky and also very noisy. Our campsite was crammed against the one next to it. Ground was flat so pitching a tent was easy. The ground was oddly devoid of anything but dirt: no branches, no pine cones, etc.; probably everything had been burnt by the camper locusts.

We arrived to a Beautiful camping spot!We setup campThen 81 7th graders setup camp on both sides and in front of us!!! The school was a private school from Oakland Ca. The kids kept walking thru our camp and making noise. When it was time to go to bed, flash lights kept flashing on our tent!! Something should be done to prevent a school taking over a campground. Or assign a camp ground for schools! We had reservations made well in advance and very much anticipated our trip to Yosemite. We even made reservations knowing school was in session.

Sure its cold but the lack of overpopulation is a win. Ranger Dan, and the others, were friendly and helpful. Just a relaxing time. My adult son and I hiked a small loop towards the church and around to Yosemite falls and the village and then back to camp. The next day we hiked the a loop through Tenaya Canyon with light snow flurries. Have to admit, we stayed a third night hoping to meet the challenge of wet /snowy weather. Rebels without a cause. Best time of year when you have crowd phobia.
