Very large groups of children miss using the restrooms, causing over crowding and unpleasant groups littering all over Yosemite valley. Little to no adult supervision. Kids running back and forth from one tent to another. Yelling during quiet times. Should not allow large groups in single/ small group camp areas it causes a tremendous amount of inconvenience. They should be restricted to large camp group areas in the park and have more supervision.

Love the campsite but site #116 in particular is quite exposed and has very little shade during the course of the day.

Was very simple, park rangers were nice, and views were beautiful.

Site#116 was not very big which I was expecting . Next site of 117's campers were taking over our site. Also camp fires and loudness after quiet hours from 115 and 117 bother us. Assume they don't really notified the rules when checked in or need 24hour camp host on site so we can complain. Try not to reserve upper pine's anymore.

Well kept, beautiful campground. My site is a little rough, though. Upper Pines 116 has very little space for any tent, and the ground is extremely rocky, making it dangerous at night. I know the idea is to preserve the environment, and be natural. But, either making the site a little safer, or putting a caveat on the website about the dangers of the the site would be appropriate.

Bathrooms not too nice. We went to visitors parking lot every day to use as a base camp. Also, better cell service at visitor parking

We loved staying at Upper Pines! It was right in the middle of everything. The entrance to Mist Trail is right behind the site and there’s a nice river to hang out in when it’s hot on the other side of the site. Also, having flushing toilets was such a nice luxury! Can’t wait to go back!

What an amazing place. The host (I think her name is Diane) is sensational.
