Great campsite, clean, and the rangers were on top of everything, even through the shutdown

We had a smooth and fun visit. Since it's hard to book sites, we ended up staying at three different campsites at the same campground, the rangers were used to this and switching was smooth and easy. All the rangers were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the shuttle service and benefited from being able to get groceries at the local shops (I had forgotten to bring cooking oil...). The bear locker provided at each campsite was large enough to hold all our food with no issue. It was hot in the afternoons on the days we visited, but we stayed cool and comfortable by hanging out by the river -- the temperature was great there and surprisingly no mosquitoes! We did pick up three ticks one time we walked along a non-boardwalk trail in the valley, so recommend tick-checking if you walk somewhere with grass hanging over the sides of the trail. All the ticks we saw were dog ticks, which do not carry Lyme's.

An amazing experience - great campground, great access, clean bathrooms with showers at Curry Village, and a very convenient bus system to get you around quickly if you want to explore a new area without driving or walking to its access. We camped and brought our bicycles, and although there are rentals available, having your own bike handy is by far the best way to get around the walking/biking paths. Check-in was super friendly and helpful, and despite DOGE cuts to our public parks staff (dont get me started), the folks we talked to and searched out for help and assistance were courteous and helpful!

We were in campsite 108 and we loved it. It was a pretty campsite, with mostly shade and some sun. It was quiet and peaceful. Curry village was a short walk or bike ride for showers or pizza.

Our campsite in the third loop of Upper Pines Campground was quiet and an easy walk or bike ride to Curry and Yosemite Villages. There are plenty of clean restrooms nearby. There were lots of birds and no bears in our campsite. Well choose this site again next year.

Well organised but we were unfortunate to have a camper with a generator right next to us and we got the fumes and noise at every meal time. Why can they not be grouped together away from Those without generators?? The bathrooms were clean and the staff very helpful and friendly.

The most dirty and noise campground we had on our roadtrip

A great campsite in terms of location and cleanliness. We had a good experience and our campsite itself had plenty of room. Our main complaint was that tent and RV camping are mixed. This meant that every morning and during the afternoons and early evening, rather than enjoy nature, we were disturbed by the loud generators of the RV's next to us. If people want to RV camp, great, but please separate RV and tent camping into two different spots!!

great campsite and set up - perfect campground to easily access everything in the valley yet return to seclusion at your campsite

Hosts were friendly as were the campers I interacted with. Yosemite is a magical place anytime of year. I happened to catch a storm with <8 of snow and temperatures between 13F-28F. I was surprised by the amount of tent campers in the snow covered campgrounds.

If you use a generator please adhere to quiet hours. Running them negatively impacts the experience of being out in the wildernesses for others.

Definitely not a private camp, you can hear all the camping noises of others, but right in the middle of Yosemite.. what more do you need?

Love this campground! Amazing view! Great location! It’s a must to bike in Yosemite. Don’t sleep too early, walk to the bridge and watch the stars. Night sky is so pretty.

Like most of the Federal parks, the facilities are a bit tired and run-down looking. As an example, the lighting wasn't operating in one of the men's restrooms. I understand that this is something under local control, but relates to Congress historic lack of support for the parks system.

Great campsite to be in during late September during the COVID pandemic. Campsites were naturally socially distanced and with limited entry so there weren't many people. Yosemite village stores were completely stocked even on short notice of reopening from the fire, kudos to the staff! I haven't booked Upper Pines in years due to the crowd but it was a great experience. Bathrooms does not shower so plan accordingly. Watch for deers and bears as they come back into the meadow from the lack of people.

Loved our stay here at upper pines. First time camping in Yosemite and we loved it even though fires were affecting the air quality, it did clear up a bit during our stay. Location was good, sites are huge, bathrooms are clean and the hosts were very friendly.
