Amazing campground, we stayed at site 106 which was spacious and shady, easily fit our 6 people with 2 tents. Loved all the woodpeckers and jays we saw right at the site. There's a lot of bathrooms which are clean and have running water. Easy access to many trails walking or on the shuttle and only a 10 minute walk to Curry Village if you want to take advantage of their amenities/coffee shop etc. Will definitely be back next year!

I've been here many times and always found the facilities great for a dry camping experience. The only downside of our visit was the fact that most facilities, including visitor and nature centers, were closed. In addition, I didn't see any rationale for keep all campgrounds closed except for half of Upper Pines.

Great time in Yosemite during the winter, and we got to see the Firefall on Friday night. Due to the cold weather, about 30% of the campsites were not used, yet the users never canceled their reservations because this site showed the campground as full. Please cancel your reservation so other people can come.

The place is amazing, clean and well Kept . The only thing I would like have had access is to accurate information about the premises, there was sewage / water for rv but in the description when doing reservations it said there was not, so although it was a pleasant surprise ñ, I just wished to have more facts about the place
Good

Great place to camp with easy access to many trails in a wonderful place. Quite a bit of empty space within each loop but you do have to put up with the large number of campers. It's not a quiet campground outside quiet hours: many children playing, many generators running, loud people having fun, pretty much what typically on at large campgrounds. All the convinces it offers make it well worth the time spent here. All with a good phone signal too.

Upper pines in Yosemite Valley is one of the greatest campgrounds our family has enjoyed. Have been coming here for 20 years.

I have been camping in Upper Pines for over 35 years. I love the experience and how easy it is to get around the valley. Its unfortunate that making reservations has become almost impossible. We ended up getting one night stays and moving sites each night and this was during the week. There were sites that had double or triple the amount of people who were allowed to stay. This was an issue with noise. The bathrooms were also being remodeled and many were closed at the time of our stay. I hope to continue our families tradition of camping here and enjoying all of the hiking, biking, and rafting we love to do. It is still one of my favorite places to be.

Mobile Data Speed Map
#123
If there are speed tests submitted for a campground the campsite icons will be colored based on the average download speed and the border will be colored based on the average upload speed.
In this example Campsite #123 has very good download speeds and decent upload speeds. If a campsite has a solid yellow color it means there was no data speed detected in the test(s). Clicking on a campsite icon reveals more details.
