Beautiful view. Easy access to RRs. Easy access to Half Dome trail head. Just an early wake up due to trash removal Saturday morning.

Nice campground and bathrooms always clean. Site 125 was a very large corner site, but didnt have as much afternoon shade as we wouldve liked. After hours check in was very confusing as signs indicated we had to stick around to talk to a ranger at 10am the next morning or the reservation would be canceled, but the ranger later said we couldve just come back later after our days hike.

Pros: corner lot, HUGE!!! enough for 10 tents. partly shady, bathroom is very close, can park 2 sedans in space.Cons: close to road, can hear bicyclists and those on foot conversating well past 10pm. large parties near adjacent sites making noise until about 11pm, made it very difficult to get to bed and rise early.

We nicknamed this site District 9 and The Refugee camp. Too busy and too many people. A little bit yucky. Nothing serene about this experience.Pros: great proximity to the river and very central. Close to the store at Curry.

Our campsite #125 was on the corner. This gave us a bigger spot to house bikes and two vehicles. There were two tent pads in the path of a drainage ditch. In rain, this would have been a major issue. Also, people walked through our camp on the way to the bathroom. The bathroom could have used more attention but due to the number of campers, this was understandable. We loved the campground and would camp there again if given the opportunity.

Nice site, plenty of room and trees. Mostly tents with a travel trailer two. Nice to be in the park and enjoy nature. Couple of twenty somethings set up their portable ramp to jump their bikes from pavement into the park. I let them know they can't do that here. Their reply, "it's just dirt." They went somewhere else.

some adults in one campsite could NOT keep their young children under control, and they would let them scream at the top of their lungs, for hours at a time!!!

Ranger Mariella Gutierrez gave us superb support! She found our spot in the campground online and walked me through getting registered and getting the reservation on my phone. A drop-in RV spot at Yosemite is unbelievable and it saved us a very long and unnecessary drive. Thanks!!!

The campground is very well placed, just at the departure of several trails and served by the shuttle to the valley. We regret that the check-in hours were so narrow and in the middle of the day : when you arrive in the evening and intend to leave early in the morning for a day-hike, you just can't check in ! It worried us a lot at our arrival. Actually, there were no problem with the rangers whe we finally checked-in two days after our arrival, they were very nice. But it should be better explained at the campground reception !An important regret is that there were no sinks for the dish washing : it would be very useful for people like us in a trip with a small tent, and not a fully equiped RV... Moreover, the system to put the waste water in not hygienic at all.The Yosemite Park is wonderful, we hiked Half Dome with a permit for the cables - a must do if you don't fear heights and have good legs, Four Miles Trail combined with Panorama Trail - well named with his geat views, Lembert Dome and Mariposa Grove.
