Please bring back the reservations for day use at Yosemite!! The crowds were growing by the minute and while I got these sites 5 months in advance and brought people who have never been before, it was hard for us to enjoy it and keep everything clean with the number of people parking everywhere.

we love camping, but the facilities at upper pine are not the best. bathrooms are ok, roads in campgrounds are bad, and size of sites are not very big. No improvements a have been made to camping facilitiesl in long time. I know that much damage was done in the valley with fire and wind and campers are not a top priority.

I had site #110 in Upper Pines for one night. Nice site on the outside of the end of a loop. Good site for tents. Fairly close to the neighbors.

Such a great week at one of the greatest places on the planet. Site 110 was perfect for us. Easy to back our 25ft trailer into with no trees impeding our slide out or awning (which we hardly needed due to the overall shady location. Quiet and peaceful. Camp hosts were wonderful people. Besides all the the normal “must sees”, if you haven’t been to Hetch Hetchy, it is worth the drive, then hike to Wapama Falls. Probably our favorite falls. Our #1 tip would be BICYCLES! Bring your own or rent, best way to get around the valley by far.

A bit Smokey from fires in the high country. No camp fires. In the middle of a pandemic. Felt safe. Zero exposure. Most services closed do to virus. But a great time and extra ordinarily quiet!

So lucky to even get a campsite after my other reservations were cancelled. Perfect base camp for day hikes or an overnight trip to Little Yosemite Valley and Half Dome.

We have returned to this camp site for many many years, initially tent camping and for the last three years with our 5th wheel trailer. It is generally well maintained with clean restrooms (with a few exceptions) Its popularity makes getting a reservation extremely difficult during the summer months, although we have learned how to use the system for successful fall arrivals.
