3 mile drive to campsite will take you 20 minutes on a one lane paved road. No big rigs allowed due to the curvy nature of the road. It is pitch dark there at night, make sure you have a light to go to the out house. Outhouse was clean and had TP. We arrived after hours and site was a little confusing to find as they have random little pockets of sites and no signs to direct you to site numbers. You are right next to your neighbors in most spots, no privacy. There was a fire pit, bear box and picnic table.

A great place and a nice experience. But a bit short on the management of the camping grounds.

Great spot that’s not too far from the valley. Clouds rest is a great but more challenging hike not too far from the spot which makes it a perfect one to add to your trip!

Good location, quiet, and well maintained campground. Location was great to access multiple trails. I'd recommend it to any campers. We will definitely try to visit there again.

Great campground, with a clean and easy though winding access road. The atmosphere of peace and quiet brought by sleeping at the heart of the forest is unparalleled. Be careful, no showers are available on site.

The road down to the campground is paved and in great condition. It's a 1 1/2 lane wide road with enough small turnouts for passing oncoming cars. A few turns are tight which is why trailers and RVs are not recommended. Another camper we met found the drive nerve-wracking because of the narrow width and lack of visibility. Pit toilets were well maintained. Unsurprisingly, quite a few mosquitos when staying near the river. Rangers seemed to only come through once a day in the mornings so how quiet it is at night depends on how respectful your neighbors are. Will stay again.
