Rangers were very helpful throughout our stay. Site could use a bit more shade but see some young trees have been planted. Verizon cell signal was low to none at times.

Loved this campground! The spots were big and had a picnic table, bear cabinet and fire pit. The scenery was amazing and being next to the river was relaxing and gorgeous. All the rangers were very informative and nice. I would highly recommend staying here.

I was happy to be in site #69 due to its beautiful backdrop. The site also had a shower hook, where I was able to put up my solar shower and rinse off after a long day of hiking. My neighbors were great and the bear box of easily accessible. My biggest suggestion is to go visit Yosemite "off-season".

Location is obviously the best thing about this camp ground as its within the park and its walking distance to a lot of amazing things. The campground itself has a lot to be desired. For parking/camping...The parking spots are very narrow. There are wood boundaries around the spot that make certain vehicle attached set ups hard to deploy. The picnic table was so beat up I couldnt use it for fear of splinters. And there were what looked to be spikey raspberry plants where you would want to place a tent. Facilities....There was not a sink for cleaning dishes. Bathrooms were fairly clean. The water can fill up spout had amazing water pressure. For reception... I had one bar of internet reception so I could send and receive calls/messages. For Safety...The rangers were around and seemed really nice. Each spot had a bear bin. Most people drove safely and the road to get to the spots was easy for most vehicles. A little hard for anyone towing anything.

So lucky to have been able to snag a campsite here - have been try to for 2 years! Bathrooms were clean and the campsites had a view of Half Dome and were walkable to the river. Can you ask for anything better!?

This location is amazing, in the middle of the forest, with just the sound of birds and the river.Campsites are wide so you don't feel packed with your neighbors, even in August and the peak of the season. Beautiful walks in the park and very helpful insights from the visitor center.
