Convenient location, clean bathrooms and great views.

The facilities were clean and well maintained. The sites are spacious. Site 50 specifically was long enough and wide enough to fit my 40 diesel pusher and towed Jeep with no issues. A bonus was a direct and gorgeous view of half dome. The camp hosts were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They not only had wonderful recommendations for things to do, but they even helped us take care of an issue we experienced with our generator. There is a lot to do within close proximity. We hiked, cycled, rafted, shopped, dined, and more without the use of a car. We couldve taken the shuttle to expand our reach as the pick up location was just outside the campground entrance, but we never felt the need to. We highly recommend Lower Pines campground!

Ranger and hosts were super friendly. Right on the bike/walking path and easy ride to Either village.

Scenery was great, all though the camp hosts urged/rushed me out of my campsite even though I was leaving 10 minutes early. Not the most inviting hosts or friendliest. Would not recommend.
