Site 31 was excellent! Close to restroom, but not too close. On the end of the row, with two picnic tables and two trees perfect for a hammock. The campground was quiet, yet close to a tram stop, so we were able to get to Curry Village quickly for showers and take the tram to the Ahwahnee for dinner. Very nice when you are tired from hiking and enjoying Yosemite's scenery! Bears did come through, but the rangers were on it and gently herded them along with sound and lights. We will definitely try for this spot again!

Lovely campsite, nice ranger. Great views, squirrels and pines. Access to river is limited. Have to be on north pines for that i suppose. There is a watertap and waste water disposal available. Toilets were ok as well. Excellent connection to bus

Campsites have no privacy and are very close together

2nd time staying at Lower Pines! Water fill stations and flush toilet bathrooms are luxurious! In July, there were lots of wild raspberry bushes around the campground, though a ranger noted they'd be removed. We loved adding them to our oatmeal during our stay!

It is almost impossible to get a reservation - we only had one night. And of course, there were empty campsites there but no way to get an extra night without going on the website - which as we all know - is useless. Campground is nice but not private. Off topic - you need to fix the cliffs in the Curry Village parking lost. We damaged a leveling jack on the RV driving through the parking lot - $300 down the drain due to your lack of considering visitors and fixing giant holes in a very busy parking lot. All this fuss about bears - I would love to actually see one. Why that giant yurt village? It's ugly and congested and creates lots of traffic and too many people. Beautiful place to visit once.
