Campsite ideally located, very welcome, clean and safe place. An excellent way to discover Yosemite (you can do most of the trails from the campsite, with a return by free shuttle). A very special thank you to the Yosemite rescue teams who took us out of Panorama trail following an ankle fracture with great efficiency and kindness!

People said this wasnt a great spot but it was quiet. Even next to the road. You get a few people walking through but if youre in camp they try to skirt the outside. Youre in shade for most of the day and the grill was great. Close to showers at curry camp too

If you like people cutting through your site, this is the site for you! Even though site 28 was empty during our three night stay people still cut through site 27 to get to/from Curry Village. I really wish the NPS would make designated paths. Other than that, the site was great, but we wont stay in site 27 again. Our 28 trailer and tow vehicle fit fine. We were worried we wouldnt fit based on the photos but the right side of the parking pad can fit a longer trailer than ours. Note that in early October we got very little sun on our solar panels due to the trees and proximity to the valley wall to the south (6 amp hours max all day), so you may need a generator if camping with a trailer.

Nice big site, only complaint was that it was right next to the road so there were lots of headlights passing. Campground had drinking water and bathrooms were clean

Good campground. Yosemite in summer is overrated and overcrowded, though. In 2022 they had problems fulfilling the shuttle schedule. At times, we had to wait over an hour for the next shuttle in remote locations.

Couldn't have loved camping here more. The views were amazing and the bathrooms were close. The campground stays quiet after dark making for a relaxing night under the stars.

Checked in at the kiosk by some very pleasant volunteers. Campsite was perfect for me and in a great location to hiking and other facilities at Camp Curry. It was a great location and clean. Restroom facilities were in good condition and well kept. No issues with noise campers or any other disturbances. I'd gladly book a stay here again.

Park visitors walked through my campsite as soon as the sun came up, in the middle of the night, and all day long to get to the campground bathroom and river. I paid for a week long stay at this site and other members of the public were present in my site more than I was.
