We did like Yosemite and almost come every year, we started 1976. I do have some suggest, this year maybe needs more people to work, specially womans bathroom, since I been there for 2 days, no one clean very dirty, and according my husbands story, he had to take his own toilet paper with him.

Had to move sites 3 times. That means for trailer owners we had to set up 6 times. So how do think that feels for a senior man to blow those hours 6 times to move. It stinks! So many people did the same as we had to. Please don't blame it on COVID. The sites we moved to 3 different times were not reserved by anyone. Something fishy going on here by Recreation.gov.

Awesome stay for 2 nights in late August 2019. We hiked Vernal Falls via Mist Trail, enjoyed the view on Nevada Falls and Half Dome while taking the loop back via Clark Point to return via John Muir Trail. We also hiked Mirror lake which had not much water around that time of the year. Initially we also had planned to take the shuttle up to Glacier Point and then hike down to the valley via Four Mile Trail. Unfortunately this shuttle was already sold out - you had to book well in advance. At the Lower Pines Camp Ground we stayed on site 25 which is close to the amphitheater and also short to the bathroom. They were clean, but more sinks wouldn't hurt. The site is in a curve and makes it easy to back in with a 27" RV - you just pass it an then can back in straight without much maneuvering.Generally rangers, visitor center's and shop's staff and shuttle drivers were very kind and friendly. We'd love to come back one day!!

I can't wait to return! Campsite was great, we could see half dome from our site, hosts and rangers were super helpful and polite, bathrooms were clean. My suggestions: there are no paper towels or soap in the bathrooms, so bring some along; bring a bike or walk on the weekends - busses were awesome but super full on the weekends in July, start early to miss crowds - especially in the village. We rode out bikes to the village in the morning and would pass deer, it was awesome. We did get a monsoon and completely flooded the campsite, luckily we were in a camper but the water was at least 4", so be prepared for that too!
