Sites that have poor quality ratings are due to being on a slope. Not the worst. Overall, still had a good stay.

The Campground: itself it nice and nestled away in a shaded and woody area. The spots are rather close together which normally isn't an issue while camping in a national park because most people typically aren't at their camp the majority of the time. The first night I was there it was a very pleasant experience with no issues. However, the second night there were several groups of people up past quiet hours having a rather rowdy time. Don't get me wrong- I am all about a good time but it got to be 12am and it was just inconsiderate to the rest of the people that could hear them throughout the entire camp. There was no one there to enforce any sort of rule whether it be a ranger or camp host which took away from the overall experience. The Campground Location: The campground is about a 40 minute drive from Yosemite Valley which has its pros (it was far less crowded and congested of an area) and it's cons (it was a drive to get to the major tourist attractions). I also liked that it was a convenient location if you were looking to explore East Yosemite as well. Overall, I would recommend and hope that you get considerate neighbors or they implement some sort of camp host that most other camps have.

this spot was mountainous & steep we were on a slant & the campsites are close together, but if you’re like me & you don’t mind those things the campground is beautiful, high up so it gets cold at night but the trees around it are gorgeous & it’s close to a gas station & about 45 minutes from yosemite valley but the drive is pretty

The only thing missing was there was no Ranger Program. We stayed during the last week of April, and even though it's "shoulder season" there were quite a few visitors. We would have LOVED attending a Ranger Program at our campground to learn more about the park.
The visitor center's informative exhibits were closed and there were no Ranger Programs in the Valley, so we didn't get to learn anything about the park. We really enjoyed our stay and everything was loveley, but we would have LOVED to get to attend programs about the geology, ecology, and flora of the park
