Many campsites way off level. Difficult for RV, even with blocks. Need to regrade driveways. Outer ring best for privacy. Inner ring crowded and no clear boundary between some campsites. People were frequently walking thru our campsite to get there bathroom.

I had a very good experience at Hodgdon Meadow Campground and can only recommend it.

We loved camping at Hodgdon Meadows. The amenities were as described and the rangers nice. It was rather far away from the valley, which added time on to our daily activities. The main problem was the site was very unlevel. Our engineer son solved this by building a pile of firewood under one wheel! Even though it said full, there were quite a few empty sites around us. If it had really been full, our neighbors would have been quite close. I would go there again, but pick a different site.

This emplacement not perfectly flat for an RV. This campground is great but quite far from Yosemite Village if you planned to hike for this place. When we arrived late at this emplacement, 3 cars where parked there making us impossible to park our RV in a flat position. So we parked elsewhere.

This was one of those great state campgrounds that was right in the thick of where you want to be from an immersed in nature perspective. Huge pines and cedars all around and a beautiful meadow close to the group campsites (short trail walk away). As far as proximity to Yosemite, it isn’t in the valley but it is at the west entrance and about 40 minutes from the valley floor. However, it has good access to Hetch Hetchy which was about 40 minutes slow drive northwest which was really incredible. We had our RV (30 ft trailer) and there was plenty of space. Site was very level though so had to use all my leveling blocks.

We reserved late, so we got the most unlevel site I've ever been in. There were some nice sites at Hogdon but ours worked in a pinch.

No water, no dump station, no space. Not enough toilets for this amount of people at campground without dump station. Sites weren't leveled.

Awesome experience. Beautiful place, we camped near a group of Prairie Dogs spent hours watching them.

Mainly a tent campground, but accommodated our 30 foot trailer well. So quiet and peaceful. Gorgeous drive to Yosemite Valley and other places in the park. Our favorite campground ever.

Great to have easy access to the park, felt a bit crowded with people frequently walking through our site, uneven sites, bathroom had flush toilets but were quite dirty. We'd likely stay again but there were some things that could be improved.

The sites are very uneven. The host was great. Convenient location. Quiet.

With a 30 ft camper and almost no flat parkingspot you dont want to spend the night unless - like us- you have no other option.
