Campground with friendly staff, clean restrooms and large enough spaces for tents and cars.

Very nice staff. They were able to find us a place to sleep for three nights, even though we were supposed to move to another place after the first night according to the reservation.

Nice campground, small, really in the woods. Only drawback: Restrooms were in very poor condition.

We really enjoyed the campground at Hodgdon Meadow - the unique location gave us a chance to see some of Yosemite's less known sites and enjoy a walk with a ranger through a sequoia grove. The campsites and trash were fine - so were the bathrooms, but it would be great to make some improvements to the water supply area. A lot of people are washing their dishes there and that needs to be taken into consideration in bear country. The bear lockers were good and we used them. Yosemite itself was bursting full - that is of course to be expected. But I do hope that they come up with a better way to deal with traffic. Nevertheless the trip was full of beautiful views and fun times.
