Sites vary a lot. We liked the 70s area that we chose pretty randomly. We were on a slight slope but nothing dramatic, some sites look very uneven. We were able to park right by our site. Check-in was a sign in sheet and we saw the site manager on the third day. Love being able to be inside the park and drive down to the valley within 45 minutes time. Also closer to hetch hetchy and the gas station in the park. No showers so plan for that. but there is potable water. 3 bathroom locations, two in the center and one down by the group sites. No firewood for purchase. We enjoyed our stay and would choose this camp again.

Nice campsite. Picked a site that is more level than most and it was still slightly slanted where we slept. Everything was fine, would camp again.

Super easy to access the site. No one in any of the closer sites, so very quiet for me. Have camped at Hodgdon twice before and level sites is a not the norm, this one was!! Very cozy, so 1 or 2 people for #73 is perfect.

It was a good way to get into the park. The spot was not very flat for my truck + camper, but driving up onto some blocks took care of that. Nice but a bit crowded. Bathrooms were in good shape.

This was a beautiful secluded campground 45 min north of Yosemite Valley. Despite it's distance from some of the main attractions, the drive between the valley and the campground is spectacular and is like an attraction in and of itself. I stayed in one of the walk-up sites and was able to park pretty close to where I was sleeping without a problem. The campground bathrooms are pretty simple - make sure to bring your own hand soap and towel. The dishwashing station was overflowing with water because the basin was clogged up with food. They expect that you bring a bin to hold a bunch of water in, clean your dishes with biodegradable soap at your campsite, and then rinse them off with the water, so definitely be prepared for that. Otherwise, it is a lovely and quiet campground underneath the trees.

Good flat spot, close-ish proximity to neighbors, dishwashing sink on outside of bathroom bldg, some sites have different configurations of food lockers - ours couldnt accommodate our normal-sized cooler, opportunity for wandering in nature past the nice looking group sites. Im pleased, especially for its proximity to the valley during a busy week.
